can't help but wonder how many folks forgot ...
I did. I don’t change the clocks until the morning but of course I got up this morning an hour early which is two hours early actually. Right now I’m wandering around lost waiting to turn the local news on at 7:00 which is still 1.5 hours away.

This after I’ve been up for 1.5 hours….
Please make this end!

My cell phone, weather station, Subaru, and Ford van GPS all change automatically. I’ll need to change the clock on the van itself and two wall clocks. Oh wait there is the motor home, tractor, beer sign clock in the office and desk clock. I bet I forget one or two.

The beer clock doesn't matter.

I thought all the ballyhoo was about it staying on daylight time year round.

In the news, congress says they are going to try and pass it this year sometime.

I don't understand why they can't just pass it, seems like a pretty non-partisan issue. Just vote on it and be done with it. Stupid politicians, both parties.

Some of you folks weren't around in the seventies when they went to daylight time in the middle of winter because of the "energy crisis". The children had to stand in the dark to wait for the bus or walk to school and some of them got hit by cars. Florida did not use daylight time when I was much younger and I think that Arizona was the last holdout. The only reason they want it full time is the almighty dollar.

Bingo! I think it’s the change people don’t like and not the actual time whichever it is. Back during the Carter Administration when we stayed on Daylight Time all year people didn’t like it. Personally II would rather stay on Standard Time all year.

Seems these examples of differing opinions are the reason it stays the same...

I have always liked the extended evening daylight whether when working or now retired.

I don’t really care either way although I would be interested it being stable and to find out if the public likes it.

I don’t care if it’s light at 6:00 in the morning when I’m making my coffee, but I’d rather it were light at 5:00 in December. Pitch dark at 4:00 in winter is a drag, and makes winter suck even more than normal.
I’m 100% in support of leaving it light later year round.

Does Canada have plans to do this too?
