Congrats EasyEd on the Beaver victory. Still not convinced the new Coug QB is worthy of the PAC 12 level of football. Yesterday he was brilliant at avoiding the rush but not so much hitting his targets. Meanwhile the guy he replaced was 25/34, 400 yards, 4 touchdowns and zero int’s. All this in a loss.

Well, my alma mater is the only undefeated team in the Big 12 now. TCU came back yesterday to take a win from the Oklahoma State Cowboys in OT.

for all practical purposes, NC State's very promising season ended last week when their QB was injured .... that was pretty much confirmed yesterday against Syracuse .... little to no offense, defense looked much better

arch rival Duke gave the UNC Tarheels all they wanted as they queaked out a 38-35 victory over Blue Devils

how about The Vols beating the Crimson Tide 52-79 in Knoxville .. :?: .. in doings so they broke a 15 game losing streak .... they are probably still partying in Knoxville

Jim it was why I posted the above pic. The Orange Vette in front of the Maroon Infiniti.
And by the way the score was 52 to 49. ;)

TCU came back again this week. Last week down 18 vs OSU and came back to win. Last night down 17 vs Kansas St and came back to win 38-28. TCU is now 7-0 in and first in the Big 12. Still a lot of football season left though. It's hard to stay undefeated in college ball.

in the first half the Tar Heels of UNC and the Pitt Panthers played about even .... the second half was a very different story with the Heels ending up with a 42 - 24 score ....

I wasn't surprised that the Tenn Vols took care of UK but sure didn't figure they would do so by a lopsided score of 44 - 6 ....

for me the biggest surprise of the day was Wake Forest being dominated by the Louisville Cardinals 48 - 21

A lot of good games yesterday but the surprise for me was the Ok St vs K St game. I thought it would be close but OSU never showed up. I think that was Gundy's worse loss. I know they had some key injuries, but my gosh, that wasn't expected. My TCU Frogs got the win in W. Virginia, Mizzou won at SC but that was a closer game than the final score. Oh, and the Astros won the second game of the series. All in all it was a good sports day for me.

Did pretty well with my college picks this week at 14-2. The two losses included my local Eastern Washington Eagles who got thumped by Portland St. Final score was only 3 points apart but the game was not that close. The Eags kept self destructing… :(

I'd of never predicted UNC to be 8 - 1 at this point in the season .... earlier today they topped the Virginia Cavaliers 31 - 28
