Wow! 220, that's a nasty flood.
Fair 34°F 1°C
Humidity 75%
Wind Speed Calm
Barometer 29.95 in
It's supposed to be in the 70s this afternoon, but cold weather is coming by the end of the week.
Black Rifle and cookies.
I stayed at it all day yesterday and got all the leaves blown from the yard, for now.
Our youngest daughter's Father in law is coming out today and we will cut firewood for she and her husband.
This is next Winter's wood as we had plenty curing for this Winter for them.
I think firewood may be expensive this Winter withs the fuel prices going up the way they are. :o :(

It's 65° and there's been a gentle rain falling since about 5:00 a.m. (almost 9:00 now). Just had coffee and cereal this morning.

Woke up to another very mild morning at 42. I could get used to this expert for the extended forecast shows next week we may see lows in the teens and highs in the upper 20’s to low 30’s. Heeeelllllllooooooo winter. :(

Today is a run around day and the next two days will be my last two to get stuff done. I have four oil changes to do and need to clean out my gutters. Lots of pine needles in them which dropped very late this year due to the very warm fall we had. Then put the snow stakes alongside the driveway before the ground freezes. Busy busy busy….

Stay safe and dry there 220.

59F and 81% humidity. It won't be any warmer as it's a cloudy day.
Coffee with my step son this morning. It was a rare treat. He stopped by after a morning bow hunt. He showed me a trail cam photograph of an enormous buck where he's hunting. I wished him luck for this afternoon.
I'm making a supply run too. I also have to stop by the mother in laws and straighten out her television. If it doesn't rain, an afternoon stroll in the pasture is called for. Hopefully some type of small game will present itself.

Enjoy your day!

Drove home yesterday from Idaho. Beautiful day for a drive until we got to town of Hood River in the Columbia River Gorge. From there the rest of the drive west was a monsoon wind/rain mess. Had zero visibility a couple times from passing car puddle splash.

Fair 52°F 11°C
Humidity 62%
Wind Speed S 8 mph
Barometer 30.02 in
We're expecting a very windy day with a high of 75. :o :D
Our daughters father in law and I cut a lot of firewood yesterday, and we also used my old
8n with the loader to transport it out of the woods into my wood lot. Next week he will return
with his two sons and we'll split and stack it. We have a cord of oak that's been curing for a
year ready to go, so we'll probably load it up and take it into the city for him as well.
With the cost of heating going up substantially I'm thinking there will be a lot of folks needing wood
this Winter. I have a lot of it.

Good morning and a Happy Hump day to you all.
It's 57 here in the Bluff with 98% humidity, and a 2 mph breeze.
Showing the high will be around the 75 degree mark.

63° on the dog walk this morning. Now it's warmed up to a balmy 64°! It should get to the mid 70's by the time the sun breaks through this afternoon. I cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast.

Indeed, I’ve had some pretty interesting drives thru the gorge. Never hit one of their famous ice storms thankfully.

37 heading all the way up to the low 40’s. After a fantastic rain yesterday that delivered anywhere from .5 to 1.0 inch of rain around the region today and tomorrow will be dry. Then starting Thursday night we have a parade of winter weather coming our way. First is 1-4” of snow followed by 40-50 mph winds. This will be followed by a big drop in temps with lows in the teens and highs in the 20’s. We danced all October with our record number of consecutive days in the 70’s and now we’re paying the fiddler.

So today and tomorrow it’s clean the gutters (been waiting for all the needles to drop), one last lawn mowing mostly to vacuum up needles, wash the mower and after that put the last of the garden hoses away and change the oil and lube the snow blower, snow plow, tractor and a generator for camping that I haven’t got to yet. I think after this I’ll be ready for the cold season. Just might have to put my feet up and enjoy the fire. Oh wait, gotta go plow some snow…

It's supposed to be a high near 70 today.
Black Rifle with just a dash of heavy cream. (Learned that from Carol). Cookies.
Wow! The Red Oak trees decided to drop their leaves yesterday. I mean a LOT of leaves.
Soooo.. I have to blow leaves today. Luckily I can just blow them into the timber.
