Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Looks like another nice day ahead. Got a dead deer in the yard I’ll have to haul off. Looks like got hit by car last night.

Good morning it's 39° here in central W TN this AM, with a high of 66°
Have the day off, and I am going to test some 210gr xtp's in the 41.
Acquired it when they first came out back in early 2017, it's Never seen a jacketed bollit till yesterday afternoon. Well except for the barrel test I recon.
Range report later.

34 heading to a nice sunny 50 something later. Looks like some pretty nice weather thru the weekend and then a rainy week ahead. We need it badly so hooray for that.
Have to leave here in a few and take my boat to the dealers for the 20 hour service. Then I’ll bring it home and put it to bed for the winter. Dealer is 1.5 hours away in Idaho and I have to drop it off this morning and go back and pick it up in the afternoon. That’s lots of driving so I’m happy I only have to do this once. I’ll take the maintenance over after today.

looks like we have a cooler day on tap .... 52 on its way to 67 .... no rain, some wind .... for the rest of this week it looks like we are in for days in the 60's with nights falling to mid 40's .... another day with nothing much on tap ... late this afternoon we have to pickup our 6 year old grandson at his after school gymnastics class ....

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Clear skies and no wind at night and warmer on the hill than in the lowlands. When the wind blows it’s colder on the hill than in the lowlands. Usually just 2 to 5 degrees.
I say hill although you don’t really feel it until you see Timms Hill. I’m told if I ride a bike from Ogema I’ll feel it. Ogema is 5 miles away and 500 feet lower. It falls off like that 360 degrees around. There might be a pop quiz on Friday.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
I'm really liking this weather. Got out on the Harley again this morning. It was in the upper 40's this morning and currently it's 74°. I've got the back door and windows open. I cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast.

Today i got to get in gear and get off to an old friends retirement party. Its being held an hour and a half from here so got to get on the road after checking cows and a couple of errands in town.... at least its a pretty fall day so the timber should look pretty on the drive up and back. It starts ar noon so wont be stuck with any night time driving. Should be good.

High in the 60s today. Nice weather for the coming 7 days.
We need rain!
No coffee or cookies this morning. The VA wants another urine test so I am fasting.
Evidently I failed the last one.
Not sure how you do that.

Hey, Coop, they say that's a Big No No at the probation office.
Other than that I haven't a clue.

It’s going to be in the low 60’s in the day and even the lows will be in the high 40’s. We have had about the right amount of rain. I’m surprised you are so dry as you are not that far away.cooperhawk wrote: ↑Fri Oct 28, 2022 8:12 amPartly Cloudy 43°F 6°C

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
What part of Missouri are you in? I grew up in Sarcoxie and spent a couple of years in Camden county teaching. I don't have any relatives left up in that area except distant cousins.Ozarkwoodswalker wrote: ↑Fri Oct 28, 2022 4:37 amI like to post here just to keep it in the mix of active topics...

I've been under the weather the last couple of days with congestion issues. I have seasonal allergies so it's always hard to tell but my energy level is low. I'll get some work done. I just had cereal, donut, and coffee for breakfast.

yeah baby!
Nice today and tomorrow then a week of on and off storms that may include some valley wet non sticking snow. Ugh, there’s that “S” word.
Probably wash the boat and winterized it (very simple with an outboard) and put it away. The trolling motor batteries have an on board charger that will also function as a tender so that’s just a simple plug in. The starting battery will need a separate tender and I’ll put the stand up canvas on and put a de-humidifier in it. While there is a great winter fishery on the Columbia River my wife and I are fair weather fisher folks so we’ll stand by and keep the fire stoked.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
a new county sewer line is being installed in our area .... it is designed to help a massive new housing development that will be going in just down the road .... it won't be of any benefit to those of us who already live here .... so far they have cut the ground cables carrying TV, internet and phone service for our home and our daughter's that is next door to us .... we've reported it and a repair crew is supposed to be here in the morning .... 47 on its way to 67 with no rain

I know, it seems just this area has been hit really hard. The Mississippi is so low that barges cannot be fully
loaded and the cruise ships have run aground.

Morning and welcome to the last weekend of October, deer season here is right around the corner now.
It's 53° here with some rain moving in around noon.
Been playin around with the 41 the past few days, and posted some results in the range report section.
