Fair 52°F 11°C
Humidity 72%
Wind Speed N 12 G 18 mph
Barometer 30.15 in
Coffee, cookies.
A cold front came through and I think Fall might really be here.
I'm getting pretty well caught up for once but still need to pull the dock and winterize the Winnebago.
I do have some painting that I could do if it warms up again for a day or two.

58° here... cold front is supposed to be through, though its not cold its supposed to only raise to mid 60s today. Pleasant outside work weather for sure. Enjoying my " way, way before the crack of dawn coffee with hopes for a good day. That in itself makes me much luckier than many in the world, " ...so, all happy here. Good coffee and good luck to the rest of you out there where ever ya be.

31F heading to 42F with 100% humidity. It’s going to freeze six of the next ten nights.

I made a bet with the neighbor that it would freeze in September and it did. I collected the winning latte yesterday. We now have a bet when it first snows. I say October and she is saying November.

51 here this morning. No freezes here til at least late November. Usually have first freeze about time deer season opens. Two hour drive later to wife’s favorite BBQ place for her birthday lunch. We will just make it an easy day trip.

Another reason I don’t like firearms that make a lot of noise. This was a backyard visitor this morning.

The wife is cooking breakfast, then the grandson and I will go fetch a load of firewood.
Then I'll see what he wants to do til noon when he'll go home.
Then off down to the river to help a friend with a couple small jobs.

First frost of the season. Not necessarily a killing frost though.
Personally I love this time of year the best, but Winter follows.
Coffee, cookies.
Waterfowl season began today and we had shotgun alarm clocks going off on the lake.
The leaves are turning quickly and it's very picturesque right now.
The only plans this weekend are a trip to Carol's Wine Supply Store for more concentrate, and
down home tomorrow to retrieve the urns from the family cemetery plot. We bring them home
each Winter and return them for Memorial Day. We'll probably stop and visit with cousins as well.

It got down to 27 or so last night and will only get to the 40’s today and I’m still in shorts.

Warming up a bit as the morning low was 69°. There's a predicted high of 88° this afternoon. I've got a bit of work to be done and then I'll relax the rest of the day.

Coffee in the Farmall mug. Bacon, eggs and english muffins to stoke the internals on this chilly morning.
Another quiet day planned.

I hope you have a good day.

I'm up early. Coffee, cookies and church.
Carol brought her outdoor plants in yesterday so they wouldn't freeze. I wondered how many
little tree frogs she brought in, well last night one was hopping around her feet as she watched TV.

EEEEEKKK!

I had to save her and set the little fellow free outside.

we awoke to a chilly 42 degree morning in central NC .... they are calling for a day of "brilliant sunshine" with a high of 70 .... not much on tap for today .... do plan to transfer 40lb of Pit Boss Competition Blend wood pellets from a bag into 5 gal buckets .... may or may not clean up our Davy Crockett smoker/grill .... we plan to use it this coming weekend while camping with our club so it needs to be cleaned prior to packing it in our camper's basement

It was 63° earlier in the day. Currently 87° under sunny skies. I cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee. I did go to briefly to the range about 11 or so.
