Range Report: Henry Mare’s Leg in .22WMR with octagon barrel
You won’t see this firearm anywhere else. I made it about 15 years ago from a .22LR M’sL and a .22WMR Frontier rifle.
The sun is barely up and I’m outside in the 27F temperature shooting. Yes I know I should be fixing the toilet. This is all forty’s fault for asking why to few range reports.

Wow has it been 15 years already! I remember following your build thread on this unique Henry.
That is the gun that got me interested in getting a Mares Leg. Absolutely one of my favorite fun guns.

Yes hustle those range reports in! Going to start grading them!
Gene you get an A+ for effort.... A for subject and an A++ for the scenic range view.
However Incomplete on target results.
Toilet can wait another day since you have all that woods around!

Well if you actually count it could only be 10 to 12 years. I was fixing the house up in Ephrata at the time.RetiredSeabee wrote: ↑Sat Oct 08, 2022 3:26 pmWow has it been 15 years already! I remember following your build thread on this unique Henry.

Didn’t I come out for a visit in 2017? It was five years ago this December that I drove back across US8 thinking this is beautiful country not ever thinking I would move here. It’s the main reason I picked this area once I decided to leave the worst coast.North Country Gal wrote: ↑Sat Oct 08, 2022 4:41 pmI remember it, too, Seabee. Pretty sure it was 2017. Sounds about right. No argument about it being beautiful.
