Coffee in the Smith and Wesson mug. George Winston playing on the Ipod mini's.
I hope to pressure can the sauce I started yesterday. Right now I'm simmering it down some.
I hope your day is great.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
92° this morning just past 11 a.m. with partly cloudy skies. The humidity is a low 51% for us. I cooked pancakes, sausage, and coffee for breakfast earlier today. I'll get out later in the evening when it gets cooler to do lawn work. I haven't been to the range in almost two months. I just haven't had the urge to get out in the heat to shoot. I'm listening to Ella Mae Morse's Capitol Collectors Series. She was one fine singer and the bands she played with were no slackers either. They really made some great music back then.

Coffee is hot.
I have a very busy day today. Our VFW rifle squad will fire a salute at a charity golf tournament benefit for vets.
First a friend and I have to deliver our jeep to display at the site early this AM.
Then I have a retirees breakfast at 8:30, and then rush home and put on my uniform, by 11:00 AM I need to be at the
golf course for the ceremony at noon.
Then tonight Carol has scheduled an opposition meeting to the town board in the city, which I need to attend.
I'll be happy when this day is done.

Did you know dryer lint is from clothes! Who would have guessed that. Here is an actual study to prove it. Your tax dollars at work.

53 heading to around 80 (if the sun penetrates the smoke layer). Heavy smoke to the point we are in a “unhealthy” zone until tomorrow. Tonight my wife’s cousin from California arrives for a visit and unfortunately she will be welcomed by very unhealthy air. The wind is supposed to shift and will help clear up the skies somewhat. Rest of the week is starting to be fall like with highs in the low 70’s and lows in the low 50’s. Winters coming…

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
I had some problems with the internet this morning. I'm on the backup system now. Anyway, it's currently 81° and sunny. I cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast.

You could have lint in the connections. It comes from clothes.Shakey Jake wrote: ↑Mon Sep 12, 2022 11:22 amI had some problems with the internet this morning. I'm on the backup system now. Anyway, it's currently 81° and sunny. I cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast.

Coffee coming up.
Not much on tap for today. Maybe I'll do some shop work.
I've been collecting Black Walnuts and Hickory Nuts. Carol uses the walnuts for flavoring in cookies and cakes.
The Hickory Nuts can be treated like pecans and flavored with savory or sweet.
My biggest problem is those damn squirrels. They're ahead of me I think.

71 as this is being typed .... predicted high today 82 .... 10 degrees cooler than yesterday .... some time today our Camaro should be ready for us to pick it up from our local dealership's garage .... on the way we will probably fill our camper's 40 lb propane tanks .... the only other thing on our schedule for today is to pickup our first grade grandson from "track-out camp" this afternoon ....

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Right now it's 83° with a low 51% humidity. It feels rather nice compared to what we had three weeks ago. I just had cereal and coffee this morning for breakfast. I get my eye injections tomorrow morning and see the urologist Thursday.

In fact I just ordered some Black Rifle.
Looks to be a nice day indeed. Beer and wings with the gun club friends this afternoon.
Today I will work on our Eagle Eye carving in the front yard. You know, my avatar. He
needs cracks sealed and some paint refreshed. Then I will spray with spar varnish.
