Studebaker Chuchwagon

a few years ago we had the pleasure of visiting the Studebaker National Museum ===> https://studebakermuseum.org/ <=== in South Bend, Indiana .... it is a very interesting museum and we really enjoyed the tour .... one display that caught our eye was a Chuckwagon from the old west .... I mean really, who knew that Studebaker used to build chuckwagons .... "The chuckwagon was developed in 1866 by Charles Goodnight, a Texas rancher who is also referred to as the “father of the Texas Panhandle“. Goodnight essentially modified a Studebaker Wagon. This was a wagon built by the Studebaker brothers whose family first arrived in America during the 1700’s. Would love to see the museum. We did an Alberta Centennial cattle drive back in '05 and ran a chuckwagon. Great fun.

When my kids were kids (now adults) they would watch older shows that were only in B&W and would ask, "Why is it so dark?"

My question is...was everything B&W in real life back then?
