I don't shoot 308, but this seemed to be a pretty good deal. Maybe. I didn't check shipping or anything.
Got this email earlier thought I'd pass it on.

Picked up 400 # 11 caps for the percussion bang bangs, a couple days ago.
They were $5.32 +tax, not bad, and should keep me shooting a while.

This morning's score, haven't seen any bp in a minute and first I've seen of this substitute. So I grabbed one for backup, the caps were $5.32 ea. also, so I grabbed a couple more, should be set for a while.
And yes the beer in the background was also picked up. 😉 one 12 pack already added to the fridge. 😁

Found these on GB last week, a tad more than I wanted to spend, but
I nearly double my inventory. 😉

Good find on those .410's. Don't see 'em around much.

Tom, locally I haven't seen any in a good while.
Hopefully some will show up some where local and I will add a few more to the stash.
But for now I'm good.

243 can be found around here but it is sky high.
I got some 308 last week pretty reasonable.

You know, reading thru these posts, it's a wonder we didn't lose more gun/ammo stores than we may have. Especially the mom/pop ones.
I thought sure I was going to see my lgs close, but, he's doing just fine other than having a hard time getting primers. Bless them for hanging in there.

Good point Tom, and thank goodness they survived. Didn't lose any around here either. They just got very low on inventory.
Unfortunately there will probably be more battles to fight. Hope they can endure.

We did loose one, but they were already talking about retiring before this ever started.

We don't have any small strictly firearm LGS's here. We have a Sportsman's Warehouse, a Coastal Farm and Ranch store and Stan's (a large Ace hardware and department store). None of them rely on their gun/ammo sales to stay in business. We also have a Walmart but I very rarely go there, they still have a small selection of ammo but I think they got rid of their rifles and shotguns, they never sold handguns here.

Good point Dave. We only have two or three dedicated gun stores around here. I guess we're lucky that the Big Box/General Store/ Hardware store combos are not dependent on firearm sales.

Yes, LGSs and liquor stores made it through the lockdown around here. All is good.

I’m not sure where all the LGSs are around me in WI. I’ve found 4 within 30 miles and Wally’s sells long guns and ammo. Lots of hardware stores sells ammo with most having limited inventory. I think even in good times they only carry the most popular cartridges and shells.

Price of common ammo is reasonable. For example the stuff I would buy .380, 9mm, .223/5.56 .45 auto. Very expensive .45 Colt and .30-30.
Check their website for pricing.
