Iowa went into the game riding a tide of off season news reports of having completely revamped their offense and their fans were expecting to see just that .... they ended up scoring a total of 7 points through a field goal and 2 safeties ...

Clemson proved to be the significantly better team last night in a 41 - 10 victory over Georgia Tech

Go Cougs. Washington State plays the Idaho Vandals on Saturday. This is a revival of a very old rivalry between these two schools which are located only eight miles apart but in different states. Cougs should dominate but, well you know, that’s why they play the game! :D
I remained a Cougar fan even after moving to Seattle. Gotta love those Apple Cups played in the snow.

The WSU Cougars put a whooping on Colorado State yesterday. I am NOT sold on the new Coug QB, he does fine and then does something very stupid. The Cougs did beat Wisconsin but otherwise they haven't played anybody. Next week is Oregon then UCLA, Cal and USC not in that particular order. 3-0 is a great start but I think the road ahead is not going to be pretty.

It’s kind of hard for me to become a Badgers fan because I don’t like Madison. I’m still following the Huskies and Cougars. I’m a Huskie fan until the Apple Cup and then I become a Coug.

Ugh, watched the WSU Cougars lead the Oregon Ducks for nearly 58 minutes only to allow the Ducks to score twice in just a couple of minutes for the LOSS. Ugh. I was really buying into the new quarterback until he threw a stupid pick six at the end of the game. Plus the Eastern Washington State Eagles lost to the Montana State Bobcats also in the last minutes. I didn’t see the game (no TV coverage for me) but a buddy who did watch said the refs made a very bad call on an interception at the end of the game leading to the loss. Not a happy camper here. :(
