Been busy in the shop lately.....

With the long weeks of high humidity and temps I have been busy making some mods on the mini bike. Added the torque convertor which gives better power control at low trail speeds plus a great top end if you need it.
Replaced factory EPA carb with a performance version that is tunable plus a custom header down pipe that I machined up a slip in muffler insert.
Made a flow tester using my large powerful shop vac where the factory muffler had a 1.5 psi of back pressure and my header/muffler showed much less at only 0.5 psi of back pressure. Just a little helps the low end torque.
And the very first mod was moving the fuel tank up top to free up space around engine for better access to carb linkage and better engine cooling plus think it looks better. Had to make new tank mount for that.

So bike mods done and it runs and sounds much better. Now for some cooler weather for trails and plinking!

I made a new mount for it and that is screwed to top rails with flat head Allen screws.

I guess it would hold a gallon and read where one guy went 20+ miles on a tank full. As far as snow there are some youtube videos of guys running them in snow.

Well my trails get smaller in some areas so went with the mini bike for ease of moving around. The weight of it is just right for me to move it around and load it up and wouldn't want anything larger. These bikes go on sale several times a year and if you find one at 40% off grab it if you can as it is well built for that price. The Coleman BT200X.... BT for the large tube frame version.
