Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

What's the deal with that bent over tree behind the campground?Sir Henry wrote: ↑Sun Jul 31, 2022 6:11 pmI ran out of cement and will have to grab some more bags to finish it. Everything is on the level or close enough for government work.

The crooked one is just leaning up against the fixed one.

The saw blades need to be dug in a few inches and have some concrete thrown in.

The metal pie plates will be suspended on the headboards somehow.

Re: Backyard Campground
Thanks. I’ve had several people turn around in it. No one liked backing up 300 yards.

This picnic table was delivered this afternoon. It weights almost 300 pounds. At least it won’t get blown over.
I still have the fire pit to complete.

Looks like everything has pretty well dried out from your downpour. Did your new turn-around handle it OK?

Re: Backyard Campground
Yes it drained as planned. I had several downpours while I was grading it so I could see the low spots and fill them in. One downpour was around four to six inches. When the picnic table was delivered it came in a Class B semi and while he couldn’t turn around he didn’t sink in.
