Stay cool Dave, I think the worst will be tomorrow and then relief!

Woke up to 58 and it felt great. Got all the windows open for now. Back up to 102 later. Did some running around yesterday and I saw temps up to 105 on my car’s thermometer. Mostly in urban areas with a lot of traffic so probably not the actual temp.

Got the gas kicker motor installed on my boat yesterday and man did the installers leave a mess. I had it bolted to the transom and they left all the metal shavings from the hole drilling in the area just in front of the transom. Even with the travel cover on by the time I towed the boat home the shavings blew all over the interior. So I’ll be doing a boat interior clean-up this morning. Heading out a week from Monday for another trip to Lake Roosevelt but further south this time. This should put us into a better fishery for the big rainbow’s and maybe get into some Kokanee too.

Currently 85° with 81% humidity. Cooked up some bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast. I've got work to do today both in the shop and around the house. Dealership called about the Harley yesterday. They're going to replace the injectors. I told them to go ahead and change the oil and flush the brakes while it was there. Maybe I can pick it up today.

70F and 65% humidity. Very overcast but rain is not forecast.
Coffee in a scout mug this morning.

Back after a relaxing week at camp. Of course I caught more fish off the dock with worm and bobber than out in the boat and lures.
Lot's of laundry and garden work to catch up on.
I might dig some potatoes today.

I hope your day is great.

Temps in the 80's, might just shoot my 1885 Highwall tomorrow. Been awhile since I shot one of these new fangled cartridge guns. :)

Currently 90° with a predicted high around 96°. The humidity is down to 64% at this time. That's usually the case in the summer.....high humidity during the morning hours and less later in the day. Cooked sausage, eggs, toast and coffee this morning.

Woke up to 56 and here at 9:30 it’s already 76. Today is supposed to be the hottest day of this heat wave but it has been extended thru tomorrow so we’ll see on that. Spokane is forecast to be 104 and here in Deer Park we’re looking at 102. Don’t think anybody would feel the difference. Took the dog for a walk earlier before the heat kicks in. Too hot to do anything outside so we’re planning a trip to Home Depot and Wallys in a few hours.

Today was supposed to be our last +100°day but they now say 102° tomorrow. We get a couple of 80 something degree days this week but then it heads back up to the 90's and back to 101°by next Tuesday.😓

I'm ready for some nice Fall weather. Now that I'm retired and don't have to get up at 4:30 for snow removal I don't even mind the Winter weather anymore.

Yeah, I was sorry to see the extended forecast. We’re heading to Fort Spokane next week and unfortunately it’s going to heat up again. Not like now, but too warm for us. We’re planning to fish so probably will head out early and be done by noon. :(

Well, It's afternoon already. We had a busy day and met our youngest daughter and her family
after church. They drove down from Minneapolis for brunch with us. The son in law also loves
chicken fried stead as I do so it was a good time. Our little eight year old grand son, (who already
knows everything), had a great omelet as well. It was fun with Mother, (Carol), and daughter each
having a bloody Mary to my surprise. :o
Then on to an antique power show which the little one loves, (well what he really loved were all the
WWII displays with guns that his Mother would rather he not see). (Good luck on that, he's a boy).

So now we're home and tired. I have a Grain Belt Premium and am chilling out.😊
Cheers.

I can handle the 8 Fridays, it's all those other days that will get to me. Hopefully temps will cool down quite bit by September but who knows with the weather we've had the last couple of years. It may stay in the 90's and 100's or maybe we'll have snow in September.🥵🥶

Looks like another hot,dry day to start off August with. Chance of scattered showers. Need rain. Started to bush hog yesterday and quit because of dust.

It's supposed to be a nice day but with the heat and humidity returning tomorrow.
We got a half inch of much needed rain last evening. we need that much every evening for a while to catch up.
I've been battling a health problem for the last week while my regular Doc is out of town on vacation. I can only
sleep 4 or 5 hours a night and have lost my appetite. (Well that appetite is probably not a bad thing for a while.)
Anyway, I finally got an appointment with another Doc for this morning. Meanwhile my regular Doc got home last
evening, went through his messages and immediately sent a medication for me to the drug store and emailed me
about it. I will now try to get into see him in the next week or so as a follow up. It's a chronic condition that I have
requiring anti biotics from time to time. A Vietnam legacy.
That's why I have been seeing him for 15 years now. He is great. He always listens and and takes good care of me.
Now I just need to cancel the appointment for this morning with a Doc I do not know anyway.
