I bought a Fat bike today and will pick it up on Friday. Thanks Joanie for the recommendation. It’s nice to have someone who knows bikes do all the research.
I live 3/4 mile from the Timms Hill Trail which connects to the 1,500 mile Ice Age Trail. No shortage of places to ride it from my front door.
Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry

Enjoy. Don't let anyone tell you that fat bikes are only for riding in the winter. I ride mine all seasons.

With the price of gas it might be my main form of transportation. I need to learn the backroad to Ogema.North Country Gal wrote: ↑Tue Jul 19, 2022 5:09 pmEnjoy. Don't let anyone tell you that fat bikes are only for riding in the winter. I ride mine all seasons.

When you pick up the fat bike, make sure you also get a low pressure gauge designed for fat bikes and plus bikes. Fat bike tires run at very low pressures and even 1 psi can make a difference. The usual bicycle tire gauge is typically not accurate enough at those low pressures. For summer riding, I usually run my fat tires at 8-12 psi, depending on surface conditions, but winter I go down below 5 psi when I need the traction on ice. And if you don't have a good floor pump, time to get one.
You're going to love it.
