86° with 83% humidity. The weather says the "feels" like is 99°. We did get a brief shower yesterday afternoon. It was just enough to settle the dust.
Cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee this morning.

Good morning, sounds like you are having a good time Hatch.
Another warm on tap here today, but it will be my last work day though.
Taking tomorrow off.

80’s today. We were at Stampede yesterday to see the stock dog competitions and also took in some native powwow dancing and song. Great day! Cutting grass today.

I’d still like to check out the Stampede and Cheyenne Days. Missed my best chance for Cheyenne way back when I lived in Utah. Would be a long trip to Calgary nowadays from here.
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
72 low this morning. High around 90 and partly cloudy. Make it a little more bearable. Been having decent chances of rain everyday, but we been missing it.

Coffee and cobbler.
It's supposed to be a nice day with T-Storms tonight.
We went to the Stampede in Calgary a few years ago. It was a very good experience. I was impressed on
how the city handled it. I was also impressed with the high school kids that did the entertainment in the
evening. I'd love to go again.

The whole city of Calgary gets into Stampede. Pancake breakfasts all over the place. Over half million people through the gates by day 3 and it runs for 10 days. We have rodeo tickets for Saturday. Right at the bucking chutes.

I was hoping for some rain but it passed with nothing. We are now in a serious drought.
I mowed out front yesterday and will mow around the house today. We leave for a
week on Sunday. I need to wash the motor home.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Currently 83°. It's a little cooler this morning than it has been. There's 87% humidity and the high is predicted to be 96°. This will be the first day in quite a few that we didn't get over 100°. That contrasts to last summer when we never got over 100°. Cooked up some sausage, French toast and coffee this morning.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Hot up here in camp. Mid 90’s probably right now. We got blown off the lake today (not really). Fished the morning upriver a few miles and the water was calm with a nice breeze. Didn’t catch any fish so around mid day we headed down river. When we got across from the launch the water was white-capping with 2-3 foot rollers so we decided to head in. Packing up in the morning and heading home, it’s been a great trip.

Kids moved close to us so we are seeing them and the new baby lots now, it's been fun. Tomorrow wife and I are off to the Stampede rodeo. Mid 80's here, summer!

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Good morning and a Happy Sat. to you all.
Well the boat ride, with some beach time was a hit, the boys had a big time.
72 this AM, headed towards 97 for their last day here.
Dad was here when we got home from the river, they'll leave out this evening.
Gonna be quiet around here again. Sure enjoyed having them.
That 3 weeks went by pretty quick.

Would that be lake Anna? I used to have a travel trailer on a lot on the north end.
It was a nice area.

Coffee and the last of the cobbler. Too much of a good thing me thinks.
It was HOT yesterday but I did get the motor home washed. Up on the white roof was like roasting in an oven.
Today we'll get it packed as we leave on Sunday afternoon. Just a two hour trip into Iowa for a very large rally.
It will be a week of partying, music and food.
Don't worry, I'm taking you along.
