I'm intrigued by the All Weather 45-70.

I feel myself getting a little itchy.

I saw a couple of videos about the rifle and I liked what I saw. I already have a Hoo9B in 30-30 so that's why the 45-70.

Can anybody tell me about the Ammo ?

Anybody have one?

What do you think?

we have a Henry Color Case Hardened 45-70 .... it has quickly become one of my favorite rifles .... with HSM Cowboy Action Ammo, its a pure pleasure to shoot .... with dangerous game ammo it will take down any thing on the North American Continent and is rated for all of Africa's Big 6 .... ours has proven to accommodate a variety of ammo .... it would be one of, if not the, last rifles we would part with

I still may go to a 45-70. What stopped me the last time was the amount of powder and lead it takes to load for it. I went with the Henry BB 45 colt and am having a ball, wonderful rifle.
