45-70 4th of July noise

The Henry single shot 45-70 made some noise today, ahead of Independence Day. 53 gr of 3031 behind a 350 gr bullet is an attention getter. Brought my Glock 43 along as well, and with the Leupold micr dot sight, I was hitting a paper plate regularly at 50 yards. Sure couldn’t do that with iron sights. .
