75 and clear blue skies , coffee just finished brewing..Taking Sandies car in for oil change this afternoon so a slow day. Buster saw his first Gray squirrel on his morning stroll, he got excited which was fun to watch.

Hard to imagine as I sit here in high 80's and sweating.

Hard for a lot of people to even consider snow in Australia but the Australian alps actually receive more snow than Switzerland in a average year.
The true alpine area is restricted to about 5000sq miles in the south east but it snows regularly from Tasmania all the way north into southern Queensland at higher elevations.

It’s hard for me to wrap my feeble brain around the fact that south of the equator it’s warm in the north and cold in the south. Kinda like driving on the other side of the road, yes I am programmed!

Here north of the equator it’s a nice 53 with partly cloudy skies. High is forecast to be 70 and yesterday I saw 80 on my home thermometer.
Thunder storms coming in tonight with a rainy day on tap for tomorrow.

Currently 79° with 91% humidity. Just had cereal, strawberries and coffee for breakfast. I've got a bit of work to do today. Taking a trip to UPS to drop off a package and that's about it.

Another good day is the game plan. We will see..should finish spot spraying the two back fields at this farm today, then road the tractor over to the other place and start there next week. Stuff and stuff... we do stuff as we go through life.... and then one day we are done... and ya leave it for some one else to mess with... it becomes their problem/opportunity .... ( ya can do a lot of pondering and "thinkin" while riding along across a field on an old tractor..).. have a good day doing stuff

77° this morning but the humidity is down to 75% so it doesn't feel quite as bad this morning. Cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast. Thankfully there are no Dr appointments today. (My sister-in-law usually goes to the doctor every Friday). Going to get some work done today. It keeps coming in, so I guess I'll keep working!

Another cool but beautiful day in old Minnesoooota.
More painting to do and then mow.
I got an email from an old friend's wife that he had a stroke but is still ornery and a
practical joker, so I guess he's fine. I think I'll call him later today.
We spent a lot of time hunting the mountains of Virginia and fishing in Canada.

Woke up to 53 and mostly overcast but did have a little sunshine peeking thru. Had a cup of coffee on the patio listening to the (damn) turkeys gobble and the robins sing. All this splendor was disrupted by the sound of a dump truck coming up the hill. The community had two loads of gravel dumped today and I had to meet the driver to let him know where to place the piles. Now back to the splendor.

Alas, the sad news. I'm partiing company with my old friend coffee for a while... my stomach suddenly doesn't care for it. Hopefully it will only be a temporary separation and not a permanent divorce. Ah well...good times while they lasted..... the many twists and turns of life..... on we go to see what new friends I may find.....

Well, yesterday was a washout. After lunch I developed a stomach virus or something and
spent the rest of the day staying close to home. I am feeling better the morning however.
Thank God! Not fun!
I'll try to get some work done today.

52 and raining. Rain is supposed to taper off around 11:00 which is exactly two hours after we are having an outdoor community meeting. Hmmmm might have to delay the start. The we (the community) have two truck loads of gravel to move into our crappy road that is deteriorating and needs a total re-pave.

Bike ride yesterday along with grocery shopping and I mowed the lawn. Supposed to hit 84 today with a trip to Sams and Walmart in front of me for the days excitement.

No church this AM. I'm still experiencing some stomach disorder from two days ago.
So yesterday afternoon I was lounging in my sweats, not feeling very well, when the door bell rang.
Carol went to the door and to my surprise it was my former foster son and his youngest all the way
from Oklahoma. They were working down the road on his Mother's house getting it ready to sell and
his truck broke down and he needed a ride to town for parts. Well hell yeah! That got me moving.
I spent the next couple of hours with them and had a really nice visit. They left this morning for home.
He was a great foster son. I love that guy as much as my own.
Then my former daughter in law texted that my Granddaughter was in labor with my fourth great grand child,
but there are complications. We are still waiting for news. She said that the baby seems OK, but won't be
born until today. Waiting....................
Now at the end of this week my oldest daughter, (the shrink), is coming from Buffalo, NY for a few days with
her husband. He's a great guy.
My cup is kinda full. I need to get over this stomach bug.

Yesterday I dug the motor home out of the mud which had turned to concrete when it dried and will clean it up and sell it.

Yes, enjoy all that beauty, both natural and man made.

Unfortunately we’re looking at another totally washed out day. Yesterday it rained all day and between that and Friday’s thunderstorms our are has received over 2” of rain. We now have a flood watch in place for areas that are vulnerable. Not my place fortunately.

It’s hard to get motivated to do anything and yesterday my wife and I spent most of the day doing nothing. Stupidly it makes me feel guilty but I only have to answer to myself so that’s foolish.
