Great looking picture Gene, green and beautiful. I think we that live in the north are blessed with a more vivid spring. It’s a reward for suffering a long cold winter. Or so I like to convince myself anyway.

That being said today it is a gloomy 50 with a drizzle falling. We should have some clearing around mid day which could lead to some isolated thunder showers. Then starting tomorrow we will have some sunshine and 70’s. Just in time for the poor folks who spent a cool wet weekend camping to go back to work. Sorry.

It's just a bit before 9 a.m. and already 81° outside. Thank God for AC but the electric bill is the Devil! Cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast.

63° and sunny. Going up to 80 something. It's been hot and muggy for a few days now. Trying to stay ahead of the yardwork. Cheers

Supposed to 90º again today, already 80. Finished weeding the garden this morning and need a shower. I am on vacation for the next 2 weeks and have plenty to do but at a reasonable rate. Planing to make a decision about retirement or working part time. Will make time to go back to the range for sure.

Currently it’s a nice 56 with filtered sun. Just got back from an early doc appt and it was 44 when I got up. Sunny and nice today and tomorrow then on Thursday a return to the cool wet spring we’ve been suffering.

Nice window today for me to spray weeds in my driveway and other non planted areas. They are out of control growing like…well a weed…and I haven’t been able to spray as I need 60 degrees and no rain for a couple of days. That just hasn’t happened until now.

Coop, I was thinking about you when I saw that weather mess crossing Minnesota. Glad to hear you didn’t have any issues. Hope Jim doesn’t run into it on his trip to South Dakota.

He should be good. From what I hear all the roads are open although SD had some wind damage as well.

43 with partly cloudy skies with a forecast of 74 later. This will be the warmest day of the year if that happens. Then storms roll in tonight lasting thru the weekend anyway. Saturday is our community clean-up day so hopefully we’ll get a break in the weather for that.

I just got some photos of our Memorial Day Ceremonies. Lots of old over weight men.
The Patriot Riders led the convoy of vehicles with their Harleys. It's a nice touch.
One shot shows us with out ponchos way out in the country at a cemetery. I think we
look like ghosts. There was a crowd at every stop waiting for us.

Nice photographs cooperhawk.

Coffee in the Smith and Wesson mug.
I renewed my FCC radio license and started a new part time job yesterday. Nothing very active on the plate for today. Just listening to some Apple music playlists.

I hope you all have a great day.

Winter has well and truly arrived down under. Wet and cold all week, first snowfall yesterday.
Forecast is for today to be overcast and maybe make the high 40's then 3 days of rain, 3 with snow, 3 more with rain and temps in the low 40s.

Hard to imagine as I sit here in high 80's and sweating.

Hard for a lot of people to even consider snow in Australia but the Australian alps actually receive more snow than Switzerland in a average year.
The true alpine area is restricted to about 5000sq miles in the south east but it snows regularly from Tasmania all the way north into southern Queensland at higher elevations.
