Siriusxm subscription price game.

Post by Coach » Tue May 17, 2022 12:55 pm

For those of us that have a Siriusxm plan.

You can reduce your bill to less than $8 a month by playing the game and threaten to cancel your subscription.

You have to do it every year but it’s worth it.

I reduced my bill from $262 a year to less than $8 a month.

Just a FYI.

Excellent advice. My wife has had this fight with them and stopped service twice. Each time they called her a week later with a very good offer.

Sounds like dealing with Comcast. I never caught on to paying for radio service in the car. Only have two stations I tune into and one is Country the other a mix of 70's-80's rock with some late 60's thrown in when they do it.

When I bought my 2014 Escape it came with my car.

I was doing sales at that time and was on the roads usually a 100 miles plus a day.

I’m a classic vinyl rock kind of guy and I enjoy that station.

Every now and then I will listen to channel 7. It gets a little discoy at times.

Now that I’m retired and took a part time job at the local hardware store 3 blocks from my house I’m hardly in my car.

We used to have SiriusXM in three vehicles but now I only have one subscription that works for all three.
I have it on my iPhone and I simply use Blue Tooth to play it in all three vehicles now. Well, I have the
subscription for one and with that you can play it on your phone, so............

I guess I could play the game and save some money though. :D

We have a subscription on our primary driver. In the RV season when we drive the truck more we turn it on there and also in a portable. When we camp in places without power (often) we use the XM for our primary entertainment. My wife is a news junkie so this way she can listen to her Fox News via the radio. Both the truck and the portable get suspended from October to May.

I got the same offer, except I was calling to cancel. I rarely get rude on the phone with businesses I have called, but I had to be less than nice to get them to cancel my service. I was told that's what they do when you want to cancel.
I've found a different service that I'll be using. I have four mini pods in the house. Two upstairs and two downstairs. Apple music classic country plays most of the time. Siri sets timers for me in the kitchen and I actually use the service.
I started with Sirius because I liked to listen to Howard Stern. He has changed over the years and I haven't listened to Sirius XM in a very long time. I decided to stop their service.
