Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
Good morning all from Jonesboro, Georgia. A fine fall morning here in Jonesboro. 55 degrees this morning, wind blowing at less than 5mph, bright skies, just a beautiful morning.......but no rain and none in the forecast. Coffee in the Yeti mug this morning. Take care and be safe today.

while its a beautiful, cool (50 degrees) but sunny morning in the neighborhood, we are still recovering from Matthew .... electric power still out, our area is still under a flash flood warning

Good morning all, can't believe we are approaching mid-October already. Shaping up to be another gorgeous day here and cooling down by the end of the week. All good news! Hope all is well....

Good morning all from the eastern slope of the Rockies! Yup, winter. Time for wool coats, wooly chaps and Fudd hats!

I love that photograph!, nothing like a snow scene! We shouldn't be seeing any snow for quite a while yet, normally not until November at the earliest. Sunny and breezy here today (Franklin County, Pa.) with a high around 64* and getting down to 39* tonight. Think I will cut grass and go get my flu shot today. (I saved your photo to my "photo stream" on my iPad)

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
It's not unusual for this part of the country. It rained the last few days and turned cold overnight. Supposed to warm up a little this week. But from now to mid May this is what to expect.

Wow hard to believe it's winter already... it's been in the 80s here pretty consistently

I don't mind, I actually get more riding and cow work in the winter months. It's all good.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
well, the good news for us is >>>> our power came back on about an hour ago ..
.. we have moved out of the camper and back into the house .... will take care of the cords, Honda generator, and such tomorrow .... unfortunately, the rivers continue to rise down east where rooftop rescues by helicopters are still taking place .... looking forward to Hurricane Matthew becoming a distant memory

Glad to hear your power is back, the wife's sisters in Plymouth and Roper supposedly didn't have damage but those poor people in Fayetteville and Lumberton and surrounding areas are really suffering according to the Weather Channel. 16" of rain.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
the whole town of Princeton has been evacuated .... Goldsboro has water in the streets, that's very rare .... the last we heard, one area right next to a major hospital in Raleigh is without power .... it will take the east coast many moons and major bucks to get over MatthewDeadwood Dutch wrote:Glad to hear your power is back, the wife's sisters in Plymouth and Roper supposedly didn't have damage but those poor people in Fayetteville and Lumberton and surrounding areas are really suffering according to the Weather Channel. 16" of rain.

Good morning everybody!
It's 39 degrees, dry and bright here in Runcorn, so the Indian summer is continuing in fine style. I hope you all enjoy your coffee!

4:10 AM and frost on the truck wind shield. Window scraping time is here again. I like the daytime temps for getting things done around the yard and other outdoors work. Trees are really changing fast now with the shorter days and colder temps. Have a great day.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
We ended up with a foot of snow. Highway near us is a skating rink this morning with a fatal accident just west of our place. I was heading out but turned back home. Just made some tea and will wait until conditions improve. Stay safe all.
