Stainless pins in tumbler

It's been at least 3 years I've been using my tumbler. Today, I'm thinking I may add more pins. Not bad for longevity. I really like the results. I'm a small batch reloader. Couple hundred at a time. Makes it easier to check for problems.

Been using mine for a little over a year now, big difference between it and the media tumbler.

They really work. Little more mess, but worth it.

Agreed, three or four years ago I switched from dry media to wet pin tumbling. Does a great job cleaning out the primer pockets. Yes, a bit more work dealing with the water but worth it in my opinion. I find small bottleneck cases like .223 will retain pins inside and require a shaking and rinse to get the pins out. Also I have to watch the flash holes for a pin now and then.

Never had one stuck the the flash hole, but the 25-20's are like those 223's, need to make sure a give a little tap sometimes.

I have the tiny straight pins and hate them. I ended up getting a mixed batch like we used to use in my mother's jewelry tumbler.

These seem to be a bit heavier and when spun in the seperator they leave the cases.
