Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Today is kick back day. We got home Friday after waiting out the wind in Lamar, Co. Ever since we hit the house its been go like hell. Yesterday was clean the 5er day. Washed the roof and belly along with the rest of it. Took it back to its storage unit. Weather is going to be nasty for this next week. Need to get the truck washed thank god its 1/4 the size of the 5er. I also had to winterize the 5er again with the weather hitting the low 20's

Low: 34
High: 47
Currently: 41 & Cloudy
Rainy conditions this afternoon
Went to Mass this morning, couple of grandkids wanted to come to our house for breakfast,
Weather conditions force me to stay inside so I’ll probably work model train tunnel. Everybody have a great day!

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
After church we went to a local supper club for Sunday Brunch.
https://www.charthouserestaurant.com
We only go there once a month or so because we eat too much, but it's so gooooood!
I had a Mimosa and Carol had Champaign, (never ending).
On the salad bar they have smoked salmon and steamed shrimp along with the various salads and fruits, ect.
Not today, but they usually have pickled herring which I love.
Then prime rib and a girl makes omelets to your specifications. They are really good too.
Of course several deserts such as various cheesecakes and chocolates.
BURP!!!!

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Feeling a bit under the weather today due to the high pollen count. 67° this morning on the dog walk. Not i's 80° with gusty winds. I had planned on shooting this morning but my allergies are too bad. Made sausage, eggs, toast and coffee this morning.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
well, we are back home from spending the weekend camping with our club .... high yesterday in the 50's, today say we should get up to a windy 62 .... naturally, with our campout over they are calling for a string of 80+ degree days to set in tomorrow .... another busy week on tap but the good news is, no doctor's appointments

37F was the low last night. First night above freezing since I’ve been here. Yesterday a lot of the snow melted. I drove down to Eau Claire and they didn’t have any snow left. Even Ogema just five miles away doesn’t have much left. Living in Timms Hill make me 400 feet higher than town.

Overcast 37°F 3°C
Humidity 81%
Wind Speed W 10 G 16 mph
Nice today and tomorrow, but then it goes back into the deep freeze for the rest of the week.
Easter looks like sunny and low 40s.
I have a retirees breakfast this morning at Cracker Barrel, so I'll have their coffee with breakfast.
A friend, (actually my son in laws step father), is coming this afternoon and we're going to start cleaning
up the dead wood on the ground from the wind storms last Winter.
He's a nice guy and we'll have fun.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
68° with thunder and lightning this morning on the dog walk. Luckily it waited until after we got home to start the rain. 74° right now. Just had cereal and strawberries for breakfast. Have to go to the dentist this morning and have a tooth checked out. They may have to redo the crown on it. There's been a root canal in the past on that tooth so it shouldn't be too unpleasant with the nerve gone. We'll see.

Cold front is here.
27 heading to 40 with a wind warning in place. 30-40 mph gusts. Not our normal wind direction but coming directly from Ranch Roper in the northeast. Brrrrrr
Maybe some snow, south of Spokane got 6” yesterday. Sorry for them but happy we didn’t get any here.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Started out with 26F and a heavy frost on things. Going to 60F today. I really like being on the plus side of the freezing point.
Coffee delayed today, but in the Farmall mug this morning. Pretty appropriate for the plans for the day.
I started off the morning at the eye surgeon's for a follow up appt. Later today there will be some work on one of the tractors.
I hope you have a great day.

Back on the basement bike today not fond of it but it helps me for the nicer weather. Change oil and filter in the lawn mower and mow the back yard later. Things are starting to turn green but its dry here and we need some rain

I went in a couple of weeks ago to have a crown removed because of a cavity beneath the crown. After removing it he found that the one next to it needed to be removed as well, they were both around 20 years old. Will be leaving in a couple hours to get the new ones put in and give the dentist $1000. Will be able to get a little of it back by taking the old crowns in to a local pawn shop. I remember getting close to $100 for one a few years ago.
I had a tooth with a root canal worked on once and asked the dentist to skip the Novocaine, wasn't too bad but I did get nitrous oxide.

I'm all fixed up now but $1200 less in the pocket.dave77 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 11, 2022 1:09 pmShakey Jake wrote: ↑Mon Apr 11, 2022 9:29 am68° with thunder and lightning this morning on the dog walk.
