I love a good crawfish boil with corn, potatoes, onions and lots of spice. Carol does them here
at home but she also adds shrimp to the mix. Really good, you should broaden your tastes Al.😋

Of course I like liver and onions and beef tongue and chicken livers and............😊

Crawfish aren't bad, I've had them a few times.

Bring it on...except the tongue. There are certain things IMO, that are just not meant to be eaten.

I had an uncle who was raising 8 children. I worked with him on a road crew and he always ate tongue sandwiches.
He would roast it along with seasoning and then slice it like salami. It was pretty darn good.
He could get them from the butcher for free in those days.

Another Friday in Lent so shrimp fajitas for supper and washed down with an Amber Bock. GD#1 & GD#3 want to go to range tomorrow so I hope weather cooperates. Wishing every body a great night, saludo 🇲🇽

P.S. a good recipe for tongue was to boil it, remove outer skin and then pickle it and slice it real thin for sándwiches!

I remember eating pickled tongue with my grandparents.

BBQ chicken thighs for supper tonight, bacon-onion green beans, green salad. Enjoyed an Amber Bock with it. GD#1 woke up very sick so the day at range is postponed, she was very upset but not much one can do. Hoping this forum had a better day, skål🇩🇰
