Testing the 2nd design bowling pin target....

Post by fortyshooter » Mon Apr 04, 2022 7:39 pm

Started out with .22 Quiet rounds thru the Henry Carbine and then full power 22 Mini Mags out of my S&W Victory. Next was .45 Colt out of my S&W 25-7 revolver. Looks like the target will work well and also will add two more pins on the setup. A counterweight is mounted on the bottom backside of the target. Another idea will be to mount small pieces of same hard bowling pin material between the pins to shield the main tube that is exposed just in case somebody's windage might be off! Luckily all hits were on the bowling pin this time.

Looks like the upgrade is going to work fine.
Those 45's really make it move.
Another good video buddy.

Well I added the other 2 pins today plus limit screws on backside of main tube that keep the bowling pins in location.
The bowling pins are 1/4 thick AR500 and designed for non magnum pistol calibers.
