Now that it’s lighter I ventured outside. The snow is much deeper than I thought. It’s an easy seven inches on the level and deeper in drifts although not a lot deeper. Not a fierce wind like it sometimes blows.

39° and clear. Coffees done, breakfast is on the way. I've got an acre of mowing today. Went on a good ride on my Honda SXS yesterday. Things a beast. I have yet to meet a trail this thing won't climb. I've had since new in 2016. I installed a air intake snorkle for deep water crossing, and going through puddles fast if needed. I don't, but you never know. Cheers!

Overcast 34°F 1°C
Humidity 100%
Wind Speed NW 15 mph
Folgers and Famous Amos cookies.

I can't drink during the day. After that Bloody Mary yesterday I could hardly stay awake.
Watch NASCAR at Richmond and dozed off and on.
Gene got plastered with wet snow but we didn't get any. It rained for a while during the night.
Don't worry Gene, when Spring finally hits it will hit all at once.
One day it will spit snow and the next the Tulips are flowering and it's 75.
Whenever it snows this time of year I just think, "at least it's not November".

You can always come visit here to thaw out Sir Henry! Won't take long either. Right now it's 71° and really don't know how hot it's going to get. We'll be complaining about it being too hot before too long and not being able to do much between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. because of heat and humidity. Ah, the pleasures of living in SE TX!!! Made bacon, sausage, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast.

45 when we got up and its already up to 59 on its way to 67 later today .... very busy morning .... first up was a trip to our Credit Union to close our checking account and open one under a different number .... now we are busy notifying businesses who we need to have the new number .... what that translates to is spending way toooo much time listening to assorted music while on hold .... in a little while I have to take both of our laptops to the Geek Squad at Best Buy .... sure hope we don't have to leave them .... the good news is, its a beautiful day in the neighborhood

I just finished shoveling overnight snow from my garage doors, making a path to my spinners and clearing the snow from my front door so I could open it.

This is what it drifted to in my driveway. I’m told one year the county had to remove five feet of drifted snow from this spot so the elderly people could go to the doctor. The county didn’t want to do it but was the only one with a front loader big enough to handle the job. It took them 45 minutes to clear the 50 foot section.

That would be a massive fall for us, we rarely get more than 2-3 inches that settles and more often than not just slushy wet stuff.
Dont think we got to any more than about 60 yesterday, fog rolled in and didnt clear until early afternoon, sunshine and blue sky this morning so we should see the mid 70's predicted

It’s going to be in the high 50’s in about a week. Even better that the lows will be above freezing.

Cleaning lady comes this morning. Yep, we have one. Carol works all day and I didn't retire to clean the house.
Storms on the way. What BRM has now is what we have the next day. It's supposed to rain with mixed snow for the
next four or five days. :(

45 when we got up this morning .... already up to 55 on its way to 77 later today .... heavy rain/thunder storms on the way during the "evening commute" .... we've already taken our 6 year old grandson to school .... next on the agenda, haul trash and fill one of our daughter's camper propane tanks .... throw in driving 20+ miles to pickup Maureen's computer from Best Buy and on the same outing doing some shopping at Sam's, its going to be a busy morning .... breakfast is history, Folgers still flowing at every opportunity

I didn’t make it out of my driveway and the neighbor saw me and stopped with his Ford to pull me out. I just plain high centered. It was fun getting down in the snow and mud. A lot more fun then doing my taxes.
