Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
I bought a new bigger RV. It still takes the same amount of fuel to use it so its moot point but using one of size will be limited with some peoples pocket books.

Congratulations. Fuel cost isn’t my biggest concern. If you can afford it buy it and drive it.

Weather in the high 40's all week by the looks of it. If this keeps up it will soon be time to saddle up and get on some fat frisky horses again. They've been standing around for awhile so expect a show...

Morning, looks like a cloudy day ahead here in central W TN.
It's 48 now with a predicted high of around 66.
Hope the windy is a bit calmer then yesterday.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
41 heading to 51 and rain. Had a nice rain all night and we’re up to about .25 inch so far. Rain stops around mid-day and there is a possibility of some thunder storms about then. If so, this will be our pups first thunderstorm, at least since we have had him. It will be interesting to see how he reacts.
Nothing going on today what-so-ever. Can’t do much outside until the snow is gone and the ground dries up some. With the melt and the rain I have some standing water here and there.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Mid 40's here and sunny. A nice day shaping up.
Coffee in one of the Scout mugs.
I had the second and last cataracts surgery early this morning. Now I can see clearly with two eyes. The fall and leg break put 6 months between the surgeries. I'm glad it's done now.
Rest and relax is the order for the rest of the day.
I'll likely make some chicken soup for our dinner as I have to limit activity.
I hope your day is great.

45° out and rain is on the way. Working on the 1st cup of dark roast. Today is cereal day, and then the treadmill. Indoor activities are in order. Probably be on the radio throughout the day. I'm still thinking about going down to Sevierville TN this Saturday for the Hamfest. Basically a gun show for radio nerds . I've never been to one. The Smokey mountain knife works is also in Sevierville. To much for one day. Cheers

50° this morning on the dog walk but already warmed up to 55° at this posting time. It should get up into the upper 60's I'd say. Cooked sausage, eggs, toast and coffee.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
31 heading up to 49 with partly cloudy skies. Looking to be a pretty nice March day. Today is a work day for us High Power shooters out at the gun club. I’m going to get there early and sight in two rifles I recently made scope changes on and shoot some laddered loads in 32 H&R to see what my Ruger likes best. Work will include re-calibrating the electronic scoring set up on the targets, re-stocking the target paster/scorer cans, restock targets, sweep and whack weeds, etc. First match for my group isn’t until May but we have practice every Wednesday with 600 yard practice once a month. Most of this work will take place in the “pits” so while this will close the 200 yard range the rest of the club will remain open for other members.
Took a look at my yard yesterday, what a mess winter leaves. I won’t be able to do anything with my lawn for a few weeks. Need some sun and warm temps to dry the lawn out. Old man winter sure does a number on landscaping.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
35 going to 55 F today. It started out foggy and now the sun is shining brightly.
Coffee is in the Farmall mug.
I went to the eye surgeon's for a post-op check up. All is fine. I'm changing the way the kitchen counter items are arranged. I'm hoping to take it easy again today and drink my pot of coffee.
I hope your day is great!

50 F, clear skies, calm winds
Supposed to be in the 70s one more day, and then rain tomorrow.
We leave for home in the morning.
We visited the Lewis and Clark Museum in town yesterday and I asked about the air rifle
that the expedition took along. It was almost closing time and the Curator took me in back,
got it down, and let me hold it and sight it in. That thing is cool.

Of course it's not really the actual rifle, but another one of that time.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Very cool Coop. Safe travels.
26 heading to a nice 51 with sunshine today. A nice day that I will waste due to the Gonzaga Bulldogs playing their first game in the NCAA championship starting today at 1:15 in the afternoon. That’s just wrong, watching basketball in the afternoon. Once the frost melts off I’ll get out and do something before the game starts. Gotta take advantage of these nice days.
