13F and snowing with low visibility. Later in the day it will be even colder. Low by 5 pm will be about zero. So much for me to go into town and shop for furniture. Or even have breakfast at the Rail Trail Cafe. I might walk to the Hill of Beans for lunch.

Hate those days where it just gets colder as the day progresses. That’s just wrong!

19 heading to the 40’s today. Right now the sun’s in my eyes as I type this and I’m fine with that. Supposed to be cloudy most of the day so I’ll enjoy being partially blind while I can. Nice tomorrow then a few days of rain with warming temps.

Might head to Costco for a few supplies and maybe hit the bank for some cash. I keep some on hand for emergencies but there’s a little talk on the tube about a possible cyber attack on our power grid so it’s a good idea to have some extra. Also I keep everything that has a gas tank full so I can transfer some to my generator if needed in a prolonged outage.

Hope it’s all just being a good Boy Scout and not really needed.

This has been one those backwards days where it was warmer this morning than it is now. Right now it's 48° with a stiff wind from the north. This morning on the dog walk it was around 58°. Had to call an ambulance for the sis-in-law this morning. She's been a quadriplegic since she was 11 for those who don't know (She's 51 now). Robyn and I have been taking care of her for the last decade or so. So far the doctors have said she has a bad kidney infection likely caused by the large kidney stone they found during a scan.

Looks like starts about 15° this morning, which I consider cold.. but if we can get through this one more nasty day they are calling for spring like warm weather for at least a week.... so feed cows and then turtle up one more day and we will be in a good place.....🙂

28° and snow. Looks like it has stopped. Im still trting to find a bed sheet that we used to cover our 40 year old Hydrangea bush.it flew away overnight. Its pretty cold out, and snowing a bit still. Mowed the yard yesterday. I hated to do it. Now it begins. 1st cup of dark roast is down, dogs up and ready to go. Flapjacks and Sausage later. Cheers!

12º and snow showers with a bit of wind. After we get through today it is supposed to start warming up, even talking about 60º later in the week. Sausage and eggs with sourdough toast with coffee.

31 heading to 51 with overcast skies. Not much on tap for today other than going out to dinner with a couple of neighbors. Might be an ice cold draft Alaska Amber involved, the place we're going to has the coldest tap beer that I have ever had.

Feeling bad for all you folks back east with the forecast I saw this morning. Looks like you’re going to get pounded. :(

as this is being typed we are camped with our club for the first time in 2022 .... we are at Raleigh Oaks which just off of I-95 near Four Oaks, NC .... early this week the weather was beautiful but it has gone down hill steadily ..... a thunder storm rumbled through just before daylight .... by mid morning the sky cleared .... from 3 to 4 PM they now show a 95% chance of snow, thankfully with little to no accumulation .... for us this is a test of our camper's systems which haven't been used since Christmas .... thankfully, so far, so good .... we have noticed a marked reduction in the usual Snow Bird migration

We left Hilton Head pretty early this morning trying to beat the front that was forecast. We didn't.
About an hour north on I95 and I could barely keep in the lane due to the high winds. We changed course.
We decided that due to the fuel costs and weather that we would head northwest into the wind, and on'
the way towards home. We are in Ashville, NC now and the wind was horrific all day. We're parked in a
KOA on a mountainside and there is snow on the ground. :o
Today has to be one of the toughest days I've spent on the road with the motorhome.
It was 68 when we left, and now it's 27.
Oh well, we're parked, warm, and I have a Coffee Royale to sip on. :D

Glad you made it to camp. Sounds like that Coffee Royale is well deserved. We've camped at that Koa. Nice place.
