Regional Gas Prices

Post by markiver54 » Wed Mar 09, 2022 10:31 am

Just curious what gas is costing in different areas?
Here, today March 9th, it's $3.94 to $4.09. ( Western North Carolina ).

Eastern Washington State is $4.19. I guess Western Washington is higher. This state has a pretty high gas tax. (One of many taxes in place since we have no state income tax)

Got this picture from my neighbor who is last I heard is in Arizona in his huge motorhome. But this could be California. Gonna be a spendy trip home.

I paid $4.60 a gallon to fill up the tank. I had to put the card in again as the pump shut off at the $100.oo max limit for my card on a gas purchase. The 36 gallon tank is nice on a round trip to camp, but tough at the pump on return. It was a bit more further north at camp.

It's amazing how they vary so much.
Bad part is, they go up much faster than they come back down. I was thinking of taking about a two week road trip while Carol works on her tax season. I have since cancelled those plans. :(

Yeah I take it out for a Saturday or Sunday drive and keep about a 1/2 tank of 93 in it so not too bad.

Diesel is all over the place here in south Texas. About 1.00 a gallon difference in places. I see 5.00 and I see 4.50 locally.

Mark, haven't been out north of town since Fri., and we are working south in a different county.
I'll bet north side I'd just bet some places will be at least .20 cents more.

Don't recall if north of you is closer to an interstate, but you can bet it costs more there
