Having a beer while watching Olympics. The fundraiser was a smashing success. The turn out was great, not only from our town but from towns around us. The pouring out of support from people has been tremendous. For all the prayers and support from this forum is outstanding, thank you from my daughter’s family and from the bottom of my heart, skål

It was Valentine's Day last night so we had reservations at our favorite supper club
I had really nice garden salad, a cup of good seafood chowder, a filet that was butter tender with a remoulade sauce with
crab meat and french fries.
They always include a loaf of garlic butter toast and a relish tray that I like a lot.
Of course Carol had wine and I had a Tanqueray Martini.
It was a nice evening.

Been washin and waxing the RV all day and doing some other things when I heard a racket in the cooler. One of the cans of beer was calling to me so I had to rescue it from drowning in the ice water. Might need a kicker of some yellow rose to go with it. Some Texas whiskey I tried. Salute to all you brave souls in the ice and snow.

We're in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa tonight. It's raining, not snowing, (yet anyway).
We had some pulled pork and beans for dinner and Carol just handed me a martini, (had a beer earlier).
Motor home is warm and wife and cat are settled in for the night.

We spent another night in Iowa. There was a big storm passing just south of us and we decided to avoid it.
We had pork ribs over Saur kraut with beans and a beer.
Then a martini and bed.
Watched some Olympics.

Well, we made it to St. Charles but it was rough going. Just South of Hannibal, Mo. there were numerous
trucks and cars in the ditchs. The road was slush and the windshield fouled. It was slow going.
We're parked now in the RV park and 'carol is making spaghetti with Clam Sauce.
I am enjoying a well earned Grain Belt Premium and had some boiled peanuts.
