Put a few rounds thru the $279 scout compact at 120 yards, it's a minute of critter gitter with a 1.5" spread, I think I could do better but the critters won't care. 140 Nosler Accubond/ 42.0 gr Varget is the load. Recoil is minimal .. Think I'll just make this my primary hunting/truck rig and call it good. Leupold American Marksman 3-9X40. If Henry made a 7-08 single shot I think they'd sell like hotcakes..
