Best wishes for the surgery. As they say in show business, break a leg....oh never mind.

Yeah, and don't get overly confident on the knee scooter and have to put up a body cast pic cause you lost it on a sweet downhill. :D
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Friday is surgery, they are giving me titanium hardware for my ankle. Surgery is an 1 1/2, there is tendon reconstruction, and other things.
I made a 6 million dollar woman reference, and the doctor looked at me and said I don't know who that is. I told him go away, you're too young! (Playfully) By the way, I get a sweet knee scooter!
They recently closed all the entrances but one at our county courthouse and put a metal detector on it. My titanium knee sets it off so they have to do the hand wand thing.

I don't blame them, it's getting scary out there.

I hope your surgery goes well and your recovery is speedy and hassle free.
That knee scooter sounds interesting. Don't take it too badly when these young folks have no idea who you are referencing. We got a free subscription to People magazine recently. I look through it and have to read the caption to see who it is in the photograph usually. I've never heard of them.

My thoughts will be with you on Friday.

I was at my local car dealer getting my Explorer serviced and one of the females that worked there had one of those
that was battery powered. Man, did she ever whiz around the show room with that thing.

I have a spare 17 HP Briggs& Stratton I think would work nicely on that thing! Hope all goes well with the surgery.

Forty don't temp me. I was a mechanic, and I still like to tinker on cars...
Although I think Mike wants to put an electric motor on it. He said I was "old fashioned". Pfft, maybe.

OK, here's the deal. I've always wanted to take on of my back pack leaf blowers down to the lake and see
if it would propel the canoe down the lake. Now I have one of the new electric ones that is much smaller
but has a lot of force. Why not take one of those and use it to propel yourself around the place. :D

Sounds like fun to me.
