We did find one in the center of the state. Moore Haven, Fl KOA. It looks OK but is far from
any place interesting. Carol had siblings on both coasts so it's a day trip to visit them from
there. It's the best we have found so far so we are making reservations now.

If you are gonna play in the RV Coop you gotta get in the game early early. My reservations for this year were made last year when I got here. In May of 21 I made resevations for Dec of 22. Thats what will happen again this year they are 1.5 years out.

Yeah, I know Al, problem is Carol's schedule and we can never be sure when she can get away.
I would much rather be going to Texas and Arizona.

I do know and I've been cajoling Carol to set a departure date. She waited till yesterday. I've been warning her.
Now I dropped the ball in her court. She wants to visit a sister in the Fort Meyer area and two brothers in the
Fort Lauderdale area. This place is half way in between so I guess it will work. Then she wants to wander up the
East Coast like we've done before. She has a list of places we want to stay and now she can work on it. The farther
north one goes the easier to get camp sites. Our plan now is to be in Harper's Ferry West (by god) Virginia in late
March and then head east for home.

We'll see.

Im sure you have already been singing the words you need to retire so we can go to warmer weather. I heard that for a while myself. That would be cool if Carol and Coop came down next year. Good lord willin and the well known substance doesnt hit the fan I will be here Dec 1 again.

Overcast 28°F -2°C
Humidity 80%
Wind Speed W 6 mph
Barometer 30.02 in
Folgers and Summer Sausage. I'm trying to cut back on calories.
Yippee! We're above zero this morning, but hold on, we're going back tonight. We'll be below zero tomorrow morning.
Our contractor is coming out this morning to finish repair on a water damaged wall in our downstairs bedroom.
I'll putz in the shop again today.
I need to start getting the Journey ready for our trip south to Florida, but it's still going to be too cold tomorrow.
Next week looks much warmer.

17 heading to 35 or so. Looks like as it’s getting light that the sky might just have a light overcast and there are some hints of maybe seeing the sun today. And even better news is by Sunday we are expecting a break in the blah with some measurable but not substantial snow. I’ll take anything to get rid of these gray days and see some change.

Nothing planned for the day so once again I’ll have to find my own amusement. Ha!

-2 F overnight, going to 28 or so today. The sun is out full today.

Coffee is in the volunteer fire dept mug I found that I had stuffed full of markers and paint pens for one of my hobbies. A trip through the dish washer and it was fit for drinking coffee from again. ( I was a member of this volunteer department decades ago )

Whittling down the honey-do list is the order of the day.

I hope your day is good today.

9 heading to 32 with clear skies. Yeah! Had a nice sunny day yesterday which was the first in over a week. The snowstorm expected this Sunday/Monday looks like it will stay mostly north and east of my place. I’m good with no snow as long as the disturbance clears out the inversion that has kept us so foggy.
