Not too much going on today. We're going to meet some friends and clients for BBQ for lunch.

30 heading to 36 with overcast skies. Looks to be a nice boring day weather wise and the rest of the week/weekend is looking to be the same.

Not sure what I will be doing today but I know I won’t be moving any snow. Yippee.

I’m finally a victim of the supply chain mess, stopped into the closest Walmart a couple of weeks ago for Folgers Black Silk in the large can and they only had three of the mid sized can. Went back this week and the only Black Silk on hand is the little micro-can. My local grocery store has the mid-sized can in stock for about $2 more than Wallys so I’ll be picking up some there.

45° this morning at 6:00 a.m. on the dog walk. It's warming up fairly quickly though. Right now at 10:00 a.m. it's 55°. Just had cereal, toast and coffee for breakfast.

Doing last preps today to make feeding the cows in the snow easier this weekend if predicted snow shows up Saturday... on we trudge.... the weather forecasters don't always get it right... however, I should imagine that it's a lot easier than back in the day when there was no forecast at all and you knew a storm was coming when it started falling on your head.....

You're hurting me Big Al. Last grand kids birthday is Sunday and I would love to leave on Monday, but Carol
says she isn't ready. Too many clients. We'll leave sometime in mid March and then she has to be back before
Easter.
The Journey has been parked for mostly two years. One little trip last Summer is all. I'm 81 and about to embark on a
long trip once again. I have to say I'm a bit nervous but once on the road I'll probably get over it. I wish we were on our
way to Texas, but Carol has family in Florida who she has not seen for several years. Next year, God willing, the
Southwest once again.

30 heading to 35 with fog everywhere. It’s starting to get to that point of winter I call the “Gray Days”. The snow is getting dirty, the cars are dirty, the buildings are dirty and the air is foggy gray. Yep, the gray days of winter. Used to be I would hope for a fresh snowfall to brighten up the view but now, maybe not so much.

Got a call last night from the contractor who is going to do my tree project and he will be dropping off the excavator this morning. That is if he can get his truck and trailer into my community. And after waiting three months for the fence company to install my fence they too expect to start here very soon. All that waiting and maybe both companies will be here working at the same time. Funny how life is…

40F today. Been like that all week. Snow melting fast. Off to Lethbridge today to LGS and get some more lead, BP and maybe caps if they have some. It’s actually a shopping trip for the wife but I top up my inventory when I can.

My cousin called last night. He and I are pretty close, kinda like a younger brother.
Anyway, he suffered a mild Angina and is scheduled for a four bypass surgery next
week. Damn, I've lost so many younger family members the last few years I would
hate to lose him too.

Prayers for your cousin Coop. A four bypass is pretty serious. Does he have high chl. ? What park do you guys stay in when you come down here? I know you said Aransas Pass just curious whick one. We may move to another one in the future as they are raising prices here. Im in for next year but that may be my last here. They are double the price of some other parks in the area and the other parks are pretty nice also.

30 heading all the way up to 34. Lots of fog in the area but here we just have a high overcast. If you are a snow skier these days are great. Foggy on the road up the mountain and then you breakout into sunshine and glorious white snow. Been many many years since I skied but these were always my favorite days.

The tree trimming/thinning guy showed up yesterday with his excavator and started the project. Not sure if I’m going to like the results or not but time (and snow melt) will tell. Might be leaving more of a mess than I anticipated. I’ll take some pics today and post them. The first crew I had in six years ago did all the work by hand with chainsaws and a big chipper. This hand work made for a nice clean finish. I tried to get the same guy back but we had communication problems.
