Still can't believe it....WOW !

Well.... I hate to break it to you guys.... but my son was in a local fleet store yesterday and they had 1000 boxes of CCI small rifle primers for $6 a box.... ?????
He triple checked with the gun counter guy and he assured him that was the right price so my son bought two boxes for himself and one for me.... I gave him a $10 and told him to keep the change. Somebody screwed up somewhere.

Was that 6 bucks for a 1000 count box or for a 100?

$6 a thousand.......... We all know that it was probably supposed to be per hundred. But, the counter guy and the cashier both said it was for 1000. So my son took them up on it.. I don't believe that he feels too guilty, he had spent thousands of dollars in there on firearms and ammo.

Grey Hawk, I think you have an obligation to tell the store they have made a mistake and return all of the primers.

Called Bass pro in Tacoma this morning, customer service said they had primers..An hour drive only to be told they're out of stock.. Fella at gun counter apologized and gave me his number to call..Dammit man ! About to throw my loading press into the river.

Congratulations to all who successfully got primers lately. It's mail order for me . I did get a heads up on this forum for primers (1 brick) and 38/357 bullets. It's tough here in the Peoples Republic of New Jersey.

Well it was a big surprise to find any locally and a great way to finish off 2021. Hope ammo and reloading supplies will come back a bit more in the next year for everyone!

Anyone who also loads for shotgun, Midway just stocked bricks of Federal 209A primers @ 74.00 per brick. I just jumped on 2 of them.
