New here…
Hey, everyone. Just a quick intro. Name’s Randy, and I think I’m addicted to Jeeps and guns. Have been for as long as I can remember. I don’t go into a lot of specifics online because you don’t know who is listening. Anyways, I got my first Henry H001 a few months back, and loved it. Got a Big Boy Silver .357 that should arrive Tuesday. I have known of Henry for many years, but I have been a tactical shooter until recently when I rediscovered how much fun single actions and lever guns were. Brought the fun back into shooting. I don’t hunt, unless you count varmints…but I shred a lot of paper and ring a lot of steel. I knew there had to be a Henry forum somewhere, did a search and found this place.
I probably should explain my signature. I can’t seem to leave anything alone, be it my Jeeps or my guns. I’m currently building a 6.0 LS powered 81 Jeep Scrambler. ( Yeah, I might be retired and have some gray hairs, but nothing beats a good dose of the skinny pedal.) My last gun project was hand fitting a Bisley grip frame to a Ruger Blackhawk.
I look forward to learning what I can here, and hopefully can contribute a little too.

Welcome to the family, Jump right in, share, ask questions. Photos. We like pics, any pics. Jeeps, guns, targets, scenery, pets. Like a family, we might rag on one another, but only in good fun.
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Welcome from snowy frosty Eastern Washington State. Your “tinkering” with jeeps, guns and anything else will be appreciated here. There’s a couple of folks who do similar mods you talk about and we all enjoy hearing about their journeys and success.

Thanks for the warm welcome! The weather finally gave UPS a break and I was able to pick up my Big Boy Silver .357. Man, this thing is beautiful! I’ll see if I can figure out how to attach a picture.
