Ammo supply good in your ‘hood?

I am a little surprised that ammo has not dried up around here to the extent as some other places. Depends what you shoot I guess, I hear that 45-70 is scarce and some other hunting rifle calibers. But 22 seems to be in abundance.

22 is pretty much all I'm seeing which is why I'm slowly stocking up on it. I can't even remember the last time I saw any 357's.

Saw some yesterday, but it weren't cheap, lots of 223,& 9mm, 308, 350 Legend everywhere.
Get this, 450 Marlin at Walmart, never seen that ammo in one before.
One WW had a Henry 30-30 youth model, looked pretty good, $684.
Very little shotgun shells. I did visit one shop that had a Lot of ammo, but expensive,
I did find some BP primers, $12.95 per 100 I got one and left one.

Just came back from the Kansas City Scheels and the had shelves full of ammo. Not a lot of different calibers but 5.56, 308, 300blk, 9mm, 40 cal and 45 acp were plentiful. The ammo was still a little pricy but it seemed like the prices are coming down.

Mostly full shelves around here, but 95% plus is in three calibers- 5.56x45, 7.62x39, & 9mm. All are down some from peak pricing, though 5.56 isn't down by much.

Seeing the same here. Did see some 357 defensive rounds but they were about $1.25 a shell and I passed. No 45 colt.

pretty much sums it up for around here also, and 350 Legend of all things.
One place I stopped last week had a bit more than others but higher priced than others,
they also had a good amount of primers Winchester and CCI, but at $99.99 a 1000.
They were still there when I left.

I looked into the drawers in my loading room and found a lot of ammo in .32 S&W Long,.357,38 spcl, 45 ACP and .45 Colt ,.44 Magnum and Spcl plus two or three other handgun and rifle calibers . I am glad that I stocked up by loading on those Sunday afternoons so I have plenty to shoot now.

Seems dubious to me ,just saying. They have ammo in stock, several brands of each caliber I checked. I also checked and they have reloading primmers in stock at a reasonable price. I find the misspelling on a website a red flag, 38 and 357 ammo in stock at not too outrageous price another red flag and cheaper than going rate of primers in each size available another red flag. I didn't advance to checkout to see if they wanted payment in crypto currency though. Buyer beware.

Been looking for some 22lr CCI Stingers and Federal Punch which I found today. Paid about $4.00 per box over what is the going rate right now, however, I figure, if Ya see them, grab them.
Wanted some 357 also. Can't remember the brand they had because I quickly put them down when I saw $66.00.
No way....Maybe, if I was totally out!

LGS has lots of ammo and primers. Whenever he gets percussion caps he lets me know and I'm there....

Thanks for the feedback! I did not catch that stuff. I noticed that credit cards were not accept, just PayPal and alike. That was enough for me.

Was at my town's largest LGS and they had plenty of ammo, 9mm Fiocchi for $20 box. Thought about getting some but still have a decent amount and am going to wait and see if it comes down a little more. Their show cases and racks were full so it looks like the firearm shortage is over.

May be a huge run on mags here as Washington's House has just passed a 10rd mag limit, looks like the Senate will also pass it and there's no doubt the governor will sign it. Currently owned larger capacity mags will be grandfathered but no new ones allowed.

They did that in Colorado Dave. 15 rounds here. It was a big deal at first but now you can buy disassembled mags and put them together. No law covering it that way.

Yep, the fools are trying to make the purchase of 30 round mags illegal to purchase. Not to possess. Also, for me Idaho is just 30 miles away where 30 round mags grow on trees…… Of course there are thousands of these mags already in the possession of us legal gun owners so………..

I went to our local largest Sporting Goods store yesterday and they had a fairly good supply of ammo. Not much choice of brands though.
Don't know if/when I'll ever see affordable 357 again. They had none at all.☹

Felt led to stop into Wal-Mart today. Found 3 boxes of 30-30 in Federal ($24), which is one of the brands that I have been looking for. Winchester is the other brand. My Henry and Marlin both like Federal. But, the Marlin likes150 grain better. I typically try and buy ammo that both rifles like. The Henry seems to shoot anything fairly accurately. The ammo was 170 grain, so I only picked 1. I figured that someone else may do better 170 grain, than I do. And, I could use the 170 grain for target practice.

Over the past year, I have found Winchester, than Remington, now Federal in 30-30 at Wal-Mart. If this is a pattern, Winchester should be hitting the shelves next. Hopefully, it will be 150 grain. Of course, something is better than nothing. Fortunately, I have something.
