Much better thank you, She has a feeding tube up her nose and goes straight to small intestine. This has made her feel much better and back to her old self.

Woke up this morning to a wind chill warning, snow and wind today, low of -14, currently-5 with an expected high of 4. Everybody have a great day!

Brm, happy for both your wife and granddaughter doing better. Best to both of them.

6 degrees with a high of 14 forecast. So far we have avoided the below zero temps that were forecast. Seems like the arctic blast didn’t sink as far south as expected. Some towns near the border are getting the double digit below zero temps but thankfully not us. Forecast for Friday night is -9 but I going to expect it to not get that cold.

My crazy pup, he loves the cold. When we take him to doggy daycare to socialize him with other dogs the owner tells us that he spends most of the time outdoors. When it gets too warm in the house for him he goes into our shower and lays on the cool tile. Here he is yesterday when I took him for a walk. 15 degrees and all he wants to do is lay in the snow and eat snow. He must have some Husky or Malamute in his linage.

We have more snow in the forecast and it’s currently -10 with a bit of wind. Supposed to snow again tonight. 4-6” or so, which is a lot for here. The new tractor with chains on it has been great for plowing. If we move inland, I’ll need a 4x4 though;)

The cold has brought a lot of rats to our bird feeder, and has me thinking how nice a garden gun would be. I’m making do with the Ruger American and the .22 shot shells though. It doesn’t seem to be a DRT thing though, so the Colt SAA pellet comes out for the coup de grace... I am at 100% on the body count though.

It's no longer morning but we've been having record breaking high temps here for the last few days. It's supposed to tie or break another one today. The weather forecast is for a cold front to come through sometime Saturday so maybe it may feel a little like winter at the first part of the new week.

67 going to 71 with a +/-50% chance of rain/storms all day .... so far nothing more than a short time with drizzle .... my hope was to haul our camper's 40 lb propane tanks to where we can have them filled .... that'll probably not happen .... nice ham and egg omelet with sausage on the side and Folgers flowing freely through a Henry mug was really a nice way to start this day

Overcast 10°F -12°C
Humidity 85%
Wind Speed SE 8 mph
Barometer 29.79 in
Ten was our high yesterday. Today is supposed to hit a balmy 23.
Folgers and cookies. Gotta eat up those Christmas Cookies. :D They might spoil.
An old neighbor called last night and asked if I would plow the snow at his parents house.
No one is living there and he's afraid the propane truck won't be able to get in. I'll wait
until it's 23 this afternoon and then get it done. Won't take long.
Otherwise I'll putz around in my shop. Did I mention it's heated? :D

64° this morning at 6:30. Already warmed up to 71°. Temps are supposed to be down to freezing by Sunday morning. Cooked bacon, eggs, and coffee this morning. Enjoying listening to Beverly Kenney while working in the shop. Tragic she died so young. She's the one that sang the Lincoln commercial
song that has the man making fake snow in Ca. (It's a Most Unusual Day). She made several records before she took her life in 1960.

My son just called, he and my DIL tested positivé for COVID, both with symptoms. She’s going in for infusion, my daughter just called and her husband and daughter (one that just had a medical procedure) tested positive, SIL is going into big city for an infusion. Now my missus (just had surgery on Tuesday) is complaining of headache and she has fever. When it rains it pours or in my part of the country, when it snows it pours!
