Really, nice, the RCBS technical service ...

Post by BruniX » Tue Dec 21, 2021 8:27 am

Recently, I asked the RCBS technical service, to know where I could buy a second igniter arm, for my Rock chucker supreme,
in order to be able to change faster between small and large primers

Here is what they replied:

"Hello Bruno,
We are sending you a primer arm and primer arm pin free of charge. Due to this being an international order, please expect a 1-2 month delay in receiving your package.
Thank you for choosing RCBS,

we've been RCBS customers since the mid 60's and totally agree with your comment about their customer service

I experienced the exact same thing with RCBS. I bought a used Uniflow powder measure at a gunshow but didn’t get the small cylinder. I called RCBS to order a cylinder and they sent me one at no charge. Can’t beat that!

Happy they will accommodate international requests, what a quality company.

Well, not to be a negative Nellie, but my experience with RCBS customer service was less than stellar.

Bought a set of RCBS dies for 30-06. Had an issue with them. Called their CS and he had me repeat the setup procedures in the instructions. Then had me measure a couple key components on the dies. I had already done all this multiple times and this time was no different. In the end he told me I could ship the dies back to them and they would look at them. He didn't seem very interested in making me happy. I was able to buy a Lee die that would fix the issue for me, for about the same as shipping the dies back to RCBS.

I know that many have had good experience with RCBS, and my experience may have been a fluke. I have had good results from my RCBS beam scale.
