Took me awhile, but I'm family now

Post by tcpip95 » Wed Dec 15, 2021 6:44 pm

I've been wanting to get a lever action rifle for a long time, but other priorities prevented me from doing so - until now.

I just purchased a Henry Classic 45-70 (H0244570) the other day. This has been on my list forever.

Looking forward to getting it and shooting it, and being a party of the Henry family.

Florida is home, but we have a summer camp site up in N. Georgia (Chattahoochee National Forest) on a mountain lake called Lake Nottely.

Welcome from Nebraska. That 45-70 is a banger!
Your handle looks familiar. Can you tell me what it means?

Welcome from Oklahoma.
I grew up living all over Fla, from the Keys, to the Everglades, to the Panhandle. Every flyspeck in between.

Moved to Va in my sophomore year. I loved Fla.
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Welcome. I grew up in Daytona Beach. Been living in South Carolina since the early 80s.

Welcome from Iowa. The 45-70 is a blast to shoot. The first outing with mine was memorable, my shoulder thought so too.
