Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
A warm 71° this morning (2nd day in a row) at 6:00 when dogs woke me up to go on their morning stroll. Going to get into the lower 80's again today. Cooked sausage, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast.

26 heading to a high of 33. Might get an inch or two of snow tonight with a more powerful storm due on Saturday.
Taking the pup to doggie day care today for more dog to dog interaction. Also meeting my son and DIL at their new place for a tour. They want to raise chickens so we’re giving them a gift certificate to a local feed store to help them along with that project. Drove by yesterday and the road in is a sheet of ice. Going to be interesting Saturday for those of us who are towing trailers for the big move.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
High / Low 21°/10°
Wind 21 mph
Humidity 79% Dew Point 14°
Pressure 29.78 in
Folgers and Granola
Strong winds over night. Up to 60mph. Might have some trees down so I need to go check the driveway.
Still windy. It was 59 degrees last evening when we went out for beer and wings, now it's 20 degrees.
If I don't have to clear the drive, I'll work in the shop today. I'm working on serving trays for the girls,
and now an old friend asked me to make some wine bottle holders for him. Not to hard to do.

26 when I got up but it was 22 when I went to bed. Supposed to get to 29 today but I bet it gets warmer than that. No snow overnight as forecast but to the south in Spokane I saw some snow on the ground on the local news. Might get some this afternoon but not expecting much.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Another warm December day. 74° this morning at 9:00 a.m. Just had cereal and strawberries for breakfast. Deposited money at the bank and then went by the post office for stamps. Thanks everyone for the BD wishes.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Fair 12°F -11°C
Humidity 67%
Wind Speed NE 5 mph
Barometer 30.24 in
A cold morning and only expecting a high of 22.
Folgers and cookies.
I messed up yesterday. After a night of high winds I should have checked the drive for downed trees.
I was remiss. A client of Carol's had to walk a quarter mile into the house to deliver papers. I then
followed her out and sure enough, a tree was down just short of the bridge. So, I got out the chain
saw and began cutting it up. Sure enough my neighbors were also cutting trees over their drives as well.
Then there were so many small branches and twigs on the drive that I got out the plow and cleared them
as well. There was just a little bit of snow. Well, at least I didn't have to deal with palm trees and blowing
sand.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
The 22 is a Marlin Golden 39A 22. I've had it over forty years.
The old rifle is a Marlin 1892 in 32 Long colt. I've also had it over forty years.
I have to reload for it, but it's a hoot to shoot. Big old slow bullet that you can actually
see in flight if you stand behind the shooter.
I like to shoot the small caliber stuff.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Compared to Roper it’s pretty darn warm here in the “south”.
4 heading to a high of 25 with clear skies expected. We got 3+ inches of snow yesterday which was more than predicted. I had just enough daylight to get my elderly neighbor plowed. I’ll do my place this morning but I only have to use the snowblower on the concrete in front of the garage. I did it backwards, plowed yesterday in a heated cab at 28 degrees and today I’ll be blowing in 4-5 degrees. Dummy.
We have a pretty substantial storm coming in tonight into tomorrow. It’s one of those head scratchers for the weather folks, might be snow leading to rain or just snow leading to more snow. If that happen we could see over 14” in the next few days. I understand it’s one of those storms with multiple bands of moisture that can dump snow on and off for several days. Looks like a white Christmas for us.
I just went out and snapped this pic. Sure is pretty with the low sun peeking thru the trees. This is a new view for us as the new neighbor had a thinning and limbing project done which opened up the view a little bit. We like it.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
A balmy 71°this morning. Seems like 71°has been the starting temp for three or four days in a row now. We've got a fairly stiff breezed from the South today. My stock did most excellently yesterday but my ETF's were down. Both S&P and NASDAQ are down about a percentage point so far this morning. Just had cereal, strawberries, and coffee. Getting my sis-inlaw ready to go to the doctor. She's had a UTI and needs to get some antibiotics.
