Poop, after my response last night i took my wife to appointment today and found out he has to have surgery. We'll wait till after Christmas cause all the kids and grandkids are coming (except for Denmark bunch). so it is scheduled for 12/28/2021. Oh we'll get through it. Might be a double Irish tonight, everybody stay well and safe, Sláinte

Well, bummer! Hope it's not too serious.
Bang Bang shrimp tonight. That's getting to be one of our favorites.😋

Well, it's snowing. Looks like we may get a foot or so. Oh well, won't have to cut the grass or rake leaves for a while.
I chained up the four wheeler and will probably chain up the tractor tomorrow. Meanwhile my Bronco with the plow is
ready to go. I'm pretty well equipped and ready. 👌

Guess I'll start out with Grain Belt Nordeast.
That's a great old beer that Shell's in New Ulm, Mn has started brewing again.
Then a martini after dinner.😁

I'll worry about the snow tomorrow.

Wind blowing like a banshee as my GPa used to say. And it brought cold weather, mixed up a batch of Tom n Jerry mix for Christmas and to warm up tonight I mixed up a batch of Hot Buttered Rum. To all the members of this forum stay well and be safe, skål.

Never been much of a bourbon drinker, it all tastes so bitter to me, even the good stuff... but... by chance I took a sip of Hennessey VS cognac a while back, haven't been without a bottle by the beside since.

My Grandad always sipped at bedtime for medicinal purposes and lived to a ripe old age, I'm going to follow his example.

I finally found Buffalo Trace in the base package store in Virginia Beach. At $20 a bottle I grabbed 2. Should have stocked up another 3.
This weekend I started my Christmas baking routine. A couple of spiced pumpkin cheesecakes, a New York style cheesecake, and my personal favorite a couple of Pecan pies.
