Hey Al, hope you brought enough blankets to ward off that chill.

21 heading to 33 with a calm dry day expected. Got a couple if inches of snow yesterday but is was so wet that I didn’t have to shovel any. Another storm coming in tonight but it’s not expected to do much.

Another warm morning at 68° with 90% humidity. Doesn't seem like December at all. High today is supposed to get to 82°. The kicker is they say it may get as high as 86° this next Friday! Just had cereal, toast and coffee for breakfast.

26 with a light snow falling. This storm isn’t expected to amount to much, maybe an inch or two. Then another storm is expected on Wednesday that might be a little bit more substantial. Today’s snow probably won’t require any plowing but I may do some light shoveling. High today is looking to be around 30.

Probably heading into Spokane to Home Depot to get a small table top Christmas tree. We’re not expecting the grandkids up this year and with the new pup a regular tree could lead to “issues”. Last year we got one that is a live tree and it lasted a long time. In a pot of course.

Might have to reconsider my no plowing thought. It’s starting to come down pretty good.

Of course a pad of butter and then micro wave warmed to melt the butter.
Well, the cold front hit as promised. NOT a nice day here.
I guess I'll putz around in my nice heated shop today.
We're going to a wine tasting dinner tonight with friends. The food is always superb. :D

We've probably reached the high today of 74° as a front is approaching. This afternoon it's supposed to be in the 50's. It will be welcome since it's been so warm lately for December. Just had cereal, toast, banana, and coffee for breakfast.

A Minnesota snowstorm turned highways and roads into a slippery destruction derby in which at least 261 vehicle crashes were reported in an 18-hour period, authorities said.

The traffic mayhem occurred as the first significant snowstorm of the season dumped about an inch of fresh powder across the Twin Cities area and farther north on Sunday, officials said.

Im sure its all of us old guys that will remember that this day December 7th was a significant day in the USA. Thanks to all those that served this day. I see Coop country is a little cool this AM. Cooled off down here as a front moved through. Took some humidity with it to. Down to 56 this AM high of 64 for today. Back to the 70’s tomorrow

29 heading all the way up to 30 before this day ends. Huh?

We got about 3” of light powdery snow yesterday, more than I expected. I shoveled off my concrete and plowed my elderly neighbor’s place. He has a large area of paved driveway between his house and shop and it sure is nice to plow a paved surface. Jealous, who me? Our community is located on a ridge and the road in is pretty steep. Also it’s a turn off a 55 mph county road and then drivers have to stop and open a gate. So there is no way to get a run at the hill coming in. Yesterday the snow volume, temperature and timing (lots of morning traffic) packed the hill into a sheet of ice. There are two homes under construction and a couple of crews including one towing a small excavator on a trailer got stuck. I didn’t see it but I guess it became quite the rodeo.

As my granddaddy used to say “it’s fresh this morning” currently 6 degrees with a 6 mph wind: partly cloudy with a high of 23. Everybody have a great day.

The low never got down as far as predicted last night. It was 57° this morning when I walked the dogs. Headed to 68° today but we're supposed to be in the 80's again by Thursday. Cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee.

Warmer tomorrow and Friday. Yippee for that. I'm weaning calves tomorrow. Dropping off a couple of guns at the gunsmith this morning and looking for a couple of Christmas gifts. Coffee up folks!
