Ya there isnt anything to brag about with the Division I playoff system. It needs to have more than 4 teams.

I always thought strength od schedule had something to do with the rankings like they claim it does. If this is so why is Alabama ranked #2. The schedule this year is as soft as it gets. OSU currently leads Mich St at half 49-0 . OSU schedule has quite a few ranked teams on it and only one has beat them the first game of the season. The ranking system has some flaws in my best guess

Yeah, it’s a joke at best. Division I needs to do a playoff system like Division II does. Our local Division II team, the Eastern Washington Eagles had a big win yesterday to finish the regular season at 9-2. Now it’s a waiting game to find out if they get a first round bye and how many if any home games they will have. Now that’s the way a playoff should run just like the NFL. The Div 1 playoff is just a made for TV dog and pony show.

The WSU Cougars had a big win Friday night against the lowly Arizona Wildcats which gave them their sixth win and makes them bowl eligible. They still have a game left against the Washington Huskies which is called the Apple Bowl. The Huskies usually dominate the Cougs but this year the Huskies are having it a very down year so…..Go Cougs, Huck the Fuskies…….as we here on the east side like to say.

About ready to dump Comcast/Xfinity for TV....have to keep their crap for internet. For the first time the annual Thanksgiving Va.Tech/ UVA game will not be able to be watched on normal cable TV. It will be on that ACC network which Comcast has still failed after 2 years to make an agreement with to carry the games! All the other rival games will be on normal TV Saturday.
Yes you can subscribe to a streaming service to see it but not when I'm already paying 200 bucks a month for what we get now!

Well here we go on rivalry week. My big game was played last night with the Washington State Cougars putting a mighty whooping on the Washington Huskies. 40-13 HA! But I will humbly admit that this is the first victory over the Huskies for the Cougs in eight years. Now if only Oregon State beats Oregon today the Cougs will be the PAC 12 north champions and play Friday in the PAC 12 Championship game. Oregon State started the year on fire but somehow found a fire department to extinguish the flames…… :( So it could be a tall order for State to win today.

Best of luck to you all’s teams.

That Michagan/ Ohio St. game was smash mouth college ball at some of it's finest. That game was really good. Iron bowl now, then, it's will be Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma St. Barn burner!

I think Cincinnati ranked number 4 is garbage. The strength of schedule doesnt match that ranking even though they are undefeated. There is a couple teams below them that should be in the playoffs before them

Nothing better than watching Utah kick Oregon to the ditch again last night. The guys who called the game couldnt believe how bad Oregon played and they thought is was an embarrassment to the program.

The Eastern Washington University Eagles lost last night to the Montana Grizzles in the second round of the Division II playoffs. The Eags put up a good fight but made a few errors down the stretch costing them the game. No TV coverage for me so I didn’t get to watch the game but got the details on the news this morning. The outgoing Eagle QB threw for five touchdowns and over 500 yards and still that wasn’t enough. EWU beat the Grizz here at home earlier this year and this game was at Montana where they have a stadium that seats 30K. That’s a lot of fans for Div II football. Congrats to the Grizz and I hope going forward they bulldoze their way to the championship game.

Congrats to the Utes for putting the Ducks back into the pond!!!

Ironically Gonzaga (of Spokane) is playing Alabama in Seattle tipping off in an hour. I read a quote in today’s paper from the Alabama coach saying he didn’t expect many Alabama fans to attend the basketball game in Seattle. Wonder why? I picked Georgia in my picks pool so I’m hoping for a double Alabama losing effort today.
