Our Morning Coffee and Weather

It was a cool 46° this morning and a little drizzly. Rain is in the forecast for the remainder of the day. Cooked eggs, bacon, toast and coffee for breakfast then headed to the range. I went to the Prairie Dog Village with the H&R Plainsman and shot the metal targets. I had a blast! That rifle is very accurate and was shooting some of the 200 yard targets with that fixed scope aiming at the tops of them.

Southern New South Wales, easiest way to give you an idea is draw a straight line from Sydney to Melbourne we are about half way along the line. Western side of the mountains in the foothills, despite being the driest continent Australia does have quite a few high rainfall areas. Our average rainfall is over 50" talking to a bloke from far north Queensland they have had over 160" so far for the year.

High 36 and cloudy. Coffee and toast. Have to deal with the leftover turkey today. Couple pot pies to make and freeze then vacu seal the rest for another time. Enjoy your day.

A good morning to you all. It's 32° here this AM with ha humidity at 99% and an ever so slight breeze out of the NNW.
Nothing stirring so far. Hunted a different part of this farm yesterday afternoon and saw the small bucks and 4 does. Didn't get up early enough to get back there before first light so I opted for the back yard.

we enjoyed the holiday and are now glad to be back home .... 32 on its way to 60 under a clear Carolina Blue Sky .... Folgers is here, breakfast is on the way .... still have some small pretrip projects that need to be taken care of, one day, hopefully, the motivation to take care of them

I think I woke up in Wonderland….it’s 48 degrees out there and it’s nearly December….dont’ know what the predicted high is but it’s got to be in the 50’s. More rain last night but today is supposed to be dry but cloudy. More of the same for most of the week. Huh?

No idea what the day will bring other than taking the pup for a walk. Yesterday we took him to Cabela’s and he was a perfect gentleman. Walked around and he pretty much behaved when folks wanted to give him some attention. He really likes kids and vice-versa. Good to get him out for some socialization. Bummer was they were sold out of the Tipton gun vise they had on a good Black Friday sale.

A bit warmer this morning than yesterday at 53° when I walked the dogs. Cloud cover helped keep things a bit warmer. Finally turned on the central heat last night for the first time this year. Just had cereal, toast, and coffee this morning. Going to do some work today and clean the rifle from yesterday's shoot.

Our 5th wheel sits in front of the house. It will be home until April 1 next year. We leave in the morning with great weather to leave town with and should be good weather for our trip. 63 today and 68 tomorrow.

I wish. We don't leave until the last Grandchild's birthday is celebrated.
That same little 7 year old grandson had the audacity to correct Grandpa on Thanksgiving for saying
a mild swear word. Just saying, he knows everything. Grandpa may have to come down on him one of
these days, but when I do there will be retributions from Grandma I'm sure.
