Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
A warm day preceding a cold front moving in later in the early evening. Right now it's 73°. Got a bit of work to do today and some clients coming over.

Despite a forecast low of 21 it’s a balmy 30 out there. Whoopie!
High clouds or fog is keeping the sun at bay right now but hopefully it will make an appearance. Yesterday’s snow ended up being 1.5” so my new pup and I shoveled off the concrete areas around the place. He was so helpful
but he had fun so that’s fine.
Other than setting my scale back 15 pounds I don’t have much on the schedule today. Maybe a walk with Trey the Land-Shark. (Teeth
)
My wife is making pies today to take to Thanksgiving and she is planning on making an extra Pumpkin to have here at home. The news anchor on our local news this morning said his family is doing the same thing and he called it a “Burner Pie”. I got a kick out of that!

Happy Thanksgiving to All ....
do hope y'all have a good one on tap ..... as planned, we are in The Great Smoky Mountains near Asheville, NC .... this morning's temp is 34, that's kind of spooky because back home in the flat lands, the temp right now is 29 .... visiting with family is very much the order of the day

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Happy Thanksgiving! Already reached our high for the day 71°. Downhill from there with rain. Supposed to be 54° by 4 p.m. this afternoon. I feel sorry for all the participants in the Houston parade today. It's going to be a wet one. Haven't had breakfast yet but will probably make bacon, eggs, toast, and coffee.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Mostly Cloudy 14°F 10°C
Humidity 73%
Wind Speed NW 17 mph
Barometer 30.36 in
The wind chill is zero.
Supposed to get up to 25 today with wind.
Folgers and cookies.
Well, the cold front came as forecast. It's cold. We have lots of folks coming today and it should be a fun day with
a lot of food. Carol is in her glory. She loves to prepare feasts on holidays and was cooking and baking all last evening
I had to smell that chicken liver pate she was making and it really smelled good, but not till tomorrow old fellow.
However she did make some fudge bars and I got two of them fresh out of the oven.
So as I used to yell over the land lines to New York Center when I worked in Washington Center, "Happy Thanksgiving
to all you turkeys out there". Of course they being New Yorkers, I usually got some colorful replies.

Mid thirties going to the mid forties with drizzle most of the day.
Coffee this morning with plain Jane and my Mary.
Happy Thanksgiving to all! Especially to those working or serving today.
I hope everyone gets to enjoy a nice meal and has something to give thanks for.

32 with a light freezing rain falling, yuk. Hope it stops before folks hit the road. Despite the forecast for low 20’s for the last several overnights we have stayed in the 30’s. Now there’s something to be thankful for.
Everybody have a great thanksgiving day.

We are going to try and get a Christmas tree today, if the wind doesn't blow us away,
The Biltmore House is awesome! Especially this time of year. Continue to enjoy your visit, and have a safe trip home!

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
A balmy 35 here in Eastern Washington State heading to the mid 40’s with a dry day ahead. Next several days we expect near record warm temps and rain. Just when the local ski resorts are set to open, this might set them back a bit.
Big day in the sports world for me. First up is what is called the Apple Cup, the annual rivalry game between the two biggest universities here in Washington State, WSU vs University of Washington. The UW Huskies have won eight Apple Cups in a row but this year they are struggling and the WSU Cougs are on a winning streak. Maybe, just maybe……
Next up is the number 1 Gonzaga Bulldogs taking on the number 5 Duke Blue Devils. Gonzaga put a 20 point whooping on number 2 UCLA a few days ago so I’m cautiously optimistic but those Dukies can be a handful.
The hatchdog house will be a-rocking tonight.

Partly Cloudy 25°F -4°C
Humidity 39%
Wind Speed SE 9 mph
Barometer 30.06 in
Folgers and pumpkin pie.
Supposed to warm up to the mid 30s today.
After the big day I need to break down the dining tables and put the leaves away.
After I haul out the garbage I think I'll just try to recover form all that food.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Niece is getting married today outside at their home with the reception in their unheated garage
. Sister will have my head if I don't attend. Snowed last night and supposed to get up to 30 degrees and windy. Casual dress is the order of the day since I don't have dress mittens.

Looks like a nice day on tap. The yard work is done so I guess
it'll be shop work today.
Ya'll have a good day.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
37 with overcast skies. The weather guy on this morning’s local news had downtown Spokane for his background and the fog is so thick that it was just a blank gray “wall” behind him. Not foggy here at my place but I can see some through the trees looking down the ridge.
Today we’re taking Trey the pup to Cabela’s for some socialization. He is finally complete on all his shots and can get out more. He has a busy week planned, Tuesday is his first grooming, Thursday he goes to doggy daycare to socialize with other dogs and Friday is puppy training. I’m starting to feel like a soccer mom.
Cabela’s has the Tipton gun vise on sale for $69 so if they have any left I’ll bring one home. Got one but it will be nice to have one in basement reloading room for maintenance and another upstairs in the garage for gun cleaning. I don’t like to use solvents in the basement as it makes the whole house smell like Shooters Choice. Or for us, smell like heaven.
