Hey Everyone. I'm a 67 year old life long avid shooter. I no longer hunt, nevertheless I still enjoy reloading and shooting. Although I have never played Golf I suppose reloading and shooting is about the same ...... playing against oneself seeking the better score. I recently bought my first Henry, a H012 in 38spl/357mag. I have been reloading and shooting 357mag for centuries with my Ruger Security Six revolver and was interested in what a Henry rifle could show me. I learned from my less accurate revolver shooting, with a rifle I had to slightly slow down the same bullets for the best grouping. I think I now have more accurate 357mag reloads for both revolver and rifle.

Hey Ward. Welcome from Nebraska. I shoot the 357 steel carbine. And love it! I’ve been reloading for a few years now and appreciate the variety the caliber offers. Enjoy your Henry, and the site.
Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

Welcome from the dry side of Washington State. Sounds like you will fit into the group just fine. My first handgun was a 4” Security Six, sure wish I still had it. There’s some great discussion on loading the 357 for the Henry in the reloading topic. Personally I have had good results with Win 296 and Hornady 158 XTP’s.
