Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Good morning from the hunting house, 30° here and feels like 28 it says. Got 82% humidity and a3mph breeze from SSE. So pretty much a calm morning for deer hunting.
Got another other the ole antique calibers out here this morn. It's a 38-55 with a 240 gr cast boolit.
Happy Saturday.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
30 going to 40 today.
Coffee in the steel mug
Today is the first day of gun season for deer around here. I was looking forward to being out in the field this year instead of laid up in the house, My new to me deer gun is out with my step son. Hopefully he connects with it. I've heard a few shots around the neighborhood, but not that many for opening day.
Enjoy your day.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
The local weather is missing for some unknown reason this AM.
The wind has finally gone down and it's supposed to be in the 40s today and cloudy.
Folgers and Granola. (Trying to eat better.)
I have a Legion meeting this morning to discuss the future with the members. Should be interesting.
We're going to see Danial O'Donald tonight in concert. Showing our age.
Have a good day.

32 heading all the way up to a balmy 35. Foggy with 99% humidity so not exactly a pleasant morning. Going to do some walking around the place today just for fun.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
A bit warmer this morning when the dogs woke me up to go on their morning walk (51°). They tell time better than most millennials! At present it's 73° and sunny. Got a bit of work done today. Fixed bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
And a good Sunday morning to ya, from the other side of the field.
Was 51° and felt like 47 so the phone said with 76% humidity and a SSE wind at 11 mph... got rain moving in mid morning.
Got the 41 mag loaded with some 276 gr WFN, should put the smackdown on something.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Dogs got me shortly before 6 this morning. It was a warm 63° and currently at 8:45 69°. There's a cold front moving through late this afternoon bringing a bit of rain. The general and I are going to the range. I think I'll shoot some 200 yard targets with the .280 M77 HB. I've not shot 200 yards and will certainly be a challenge. Just had cereal, banana, and coffee this morning.

33 heading to 38 with fog this morning. But…..as I type this I’m looking out the back to the east and I see the sun trying to burn the fog off. You go sun!
Now that our pup has had all his shots we are taking him out for socialization. This morning he’s going to North 40 (a regional feed store that has an extensive sporting goods dept) to check on primers and powder. He expects to be disappointed but hopefully he doesn’t show his disappointment by dropping a “gift”.
Looks like Bullwinkle visited us Friday night and left a trail.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Mostly Cloudy and Windy 36°F 2°C
Humidity 56%
Wind Speed NW 29 G 40 mph
Barometer 30.07 in
Darn, windy again. It's really been windy this Fall.
Church and then a small town restaurant that does a big breakfast business, and with good reason.
Country fried steak and eggs with sausage gravy, hash browns, toast and coffee.
The have a really good sausage blend. Outstanding I might say. Farm fresh eggs as well.
That's what you find in small town USA if you look.
Happy, happy, happy.
