The Adult Evening Beverage

Thanks. Step daughter and her family just left. They brought steaks and Turtle Candy as well as a fifth of Bombay Sapphire for me.
Well, the steaks were for everyone actually, the candy and Gin are all MINE!
I had a couple of glasses of Carol's homemade wine before dinner and now for a nice Martini as they just left and I can settle into my recliner in peace.

Sounds like a nice meal and visit Coop. Happy belated birthday. Enjoy the martini. I give you permission to have another one for me. Question, olives or onions?
I'm saluting all with a ginger ale listening to a little Neil Diamond. Holly Holy stuck in my head and now I'm listening to a few others.

Well, I just finished off a leftover grilled burger from night before last.
Hey, Mark. Working on making freezer room for the new deer, found some ground deer and I mixed a batch last night.
Just put it in the oven, should be ready in an hour and a half. May want to let it cool a spell though.
Drinking a cold one and thinking a little Trace is in order here soon.

We went to the Casino to see Danial O'Donnell and figured we'd grab a bite to eat there.
Well, that didn't work out too well. The food venues were packed! I finally got some onion rings
and made do.
The show was terrific. We were in the nose bleed section in the very top row, but the sound system
did a great job as well as the large screen displays. The casino gave him two hours but he said he
didn't travel 5000 mile to do a two hour show, so he did two and a half hours and he warned us there
would be no intermission, and he delivered.
At one point they informed him there was a 104 year old lady in the audience and he asked, "where"?
Turns out she was right beside us as they had brought her up an elevator in the back, and he sprinted
all the way up to her and sang an Irish lullaby with her while the cameras displayed it on the screens.
Touching.
Got home and ate some left over spiced steamed shrimp with a martini or two to cleanse the palate.
It was a good night for all.

How dee fellas, no drinking tonight got an abscess
But a friend of mine was passing through town today and dropped these off.
The mold is for my recently acquired 38-55 Cowboy.
Just sweet tea tonight.
