45-70 and AR today :-)

Post by Kissmybrass » Wed Nov 10, 2021 7:13 pm

AR (black dot target) did it's usual spot on performance but scratching my head (again) with my 45-70 reloads. It's all good just gotta narrow it down to one load and go with it I guess :-0

Group on the bottom right diamond looks pretty good.

AR is definitely dialed in... what make & model?

The AR knows where to send those rounds. That group on the lower right for the 45-70 looks fine to me. I'd start with that load and maybe tweak it a wee bit.

Man, that’s covering both ends of the spectrum regarding calibers. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah the top five were FTX and dialed in some gas checked 300 grains lower right. Those were my last shots.
No Missouri rounds in there which I really had a good experience with. I usually have awesome groupings with the FTX so I was suprised at the results.
